Իսպանիայում մեծ արձագանք է ստացել Նոելիա անունով կնոջ պատմությունը, ում էֆթանազիայի դիմումը հաստատվել է, և, ըստ հրապարակումների, գործընթացը նախատեսված է այսօր՝ մարտի 26-ին։ Դեպքը դարձել է լայն հանրային քննարկումների առարկա՝ առաջ բերելով ինչպես իրավական, այնպես էլ բարոյական հարցեր։
Ըստ շրջանառվող տեղեկությունների՝ Նոելիան մեծացել է Barcelona-ում՝ սոցիալապես անապահով պայմաններում։ Վաղ տարիքում զրկվել է ծնողական խնամքից և մանկությունն անցկացրել է տարբեր մանկատներում։
Հետագա տարիներին նրա կյանքում տեղի ունեցած ծանր իրադարձությունները, այդ թվում՝ բռնության դեպք, հանգեցրել են լուրջ հոգեբանական խնդիրների։ Նշվում է, որ նա ունեցել է ծանր դեպրեսիա և փորձել է ինքնավնասում, ինչի հետևանքով դարձել է հաշմանդամ։
2024 թվականից Նոելիան ստացել է երկարատև բժշկական օգնություն, սակայն նրա վիճակը չի բարելավվել։ Աղբյուրների համաձայն՝ նա դիմել է էֆթանազիայի թույլտվության համար և անցել անհրաժեշտ բժշկական ու հոգեբանական փորձաքննությունները։
Բժիշկների եզրակացությամբ՝ նրա վիճակը գնահատվել է որպես անդառնալի և անբուժելի, ուղեկցվող մշտական ցավերով, իսկ որոշումը՝ գիտակցված։
Դեպքին նոր զարգացում է հաղորդել Նոելիայի հոր միջամտությունը, ով փորձել է դատարանի միջոցով կասեցնել գործընթացը՝ պնդելով, որ անհրաժեշտ է շարունակել բուժումը։
Սակայն, ըստ հրապարակումների, European Court of Human Rights-ը մերժել է պահանջը՝ թույլ տալով շարունակել գործընթացը իրավական կարգով։
Նոելիայի պատմությունը լայնորեն քննարկվում է սոցիալական ցանցերում և լրատվամիջոցներում։
Մի հատվածը պաշտպանում է նրա ընտրությունը՝ այն դիտարկելով որպես անձնական իրավունքի դրսևորում, իսկ մյուսները մտահոգություն են հայտնում՝ ընդգծելով կյանքի արժեքը և նման որոշումների բարոյական կողմը։
Քանի որ դեպքի վերաբերյալ տեղեկությունների մի մասը տարածվում է սոցիալական հարթակներում, մասնագետները խորհուրդ են տալիս հետևել պաշտոնական աղբյուրներին և խուսափել չստուգված տվյալներից։
Նոելիայի դեպքը կրկին ուշադրության կենտրոնում է բերել էֆթանազիայի թեման՝ ցույց տալով, թե որքան բարդ և բազմաշերտ են նման որոշումները։ Այն առաջացրել է լայն քննարկումներ՝ կյանքի իրավունքի, անձնական ընտրության և հասարակական արժեքների շուրջ։
