Իրանը դադարեցրել է դեպի Թուրքիա գազի մատակարարումն այն բանից հետո, երբ Իսրայելն անցյալ շաբաթ հարված է հասցրել «Հարավային Պարս» խոշոր գազային հանքավայրին։ Այս մասին, հղում անելով իր աղբյուրներին, հայտնել է Bloomberg գործակալությունը։
Ինչպես նշում է գործակալությունը, 2025 թվականին Թուրքիա ներկրվող բնական գազի 14%-ը բաժին է ընկել Իրանին։ Ըստ աղբյուրների տվյալների՝ Անկարան շարունակում է գազ ներկրել Ռուսաստանից և Ադրբեջանից, երկիրն ունի նաև սեփական պաշարներ։ Հայտնի չէ, թե երբ կվերականգնվեն Իրանից ստացվող մատակարարումները։
Մարտի 18-ին Իրանի Բուշեր նահանգի Ասալույե շրջանի վարչակազմի ղեկավարը հայտնել է, որ Իսրայելի և ԱՄՆ-ի հարվածի հետևանքով հրդեհ է բռնկվել «Հարավային Պարս» հանքավայրի մի քանի օբյեկտներում։ Այս կապակցությամբ Իսլամական հեղափոխության պահապանների կորպուսը (Իրանի զինված ուժերի էլիտար ստորաբաժանումները) հայտարարել է մոտ ժամանակներս Սաուդյան Արաբիայի, ԱՄԷ-ի և Կատարի նավթագազային ոլորտի օբյեկտների վրա հարվածներ հասցնելու մտադրության մասին։ Դրանից հետո Qatar Energy ընկերությունը հայտնել է, որ Ռաս Լաֆանում գտնվող հարթակը ենթարկվել է հրթիռակոծության, ինչի հետևանքով հրդեհ է սկսվել։ Կատարի պաշտպանության նախարարությունը նշել է, որ բալիստիկ արկով հարվածը հասցվել է Իրանի տարածքից։ Ինչպես ավելի ուշ հավելել է Qatar Energy-ն, մարտի 19-ի կեսգիշերից հետո ընկերության արտադրական ենթակառուցվածքը կրկին հայտնվել է հրթիռային հարվածի տակ, ինչը ևս մեկ մասշտաբային հրդեհ է առաջացրել։
