ԱրարատԲանկ․ «Հայկական առասպելներ և պոեմներ» գրքի հասույթը՝ «Սիթի օֆ Սմայլ» հիմնադրամին

ԱրարատԲանկը շարունակում է աջակցել քաղցկեղի և արյան չարորակ հիվանդությունների դեմ պայքարող երեխաների բուժմանը՝ համագործակցելով հիմնադրամի հետ տարբեր ծրագրերի շրջանակներում։
Այս անգամ նախաձեռնության առիթ դարձավ Mastercard-ի 2025 թվականն ամփոփող բացառիկ միջոցառման շրջանակում կազմակերպված բարեգործական աճուրդը, որի ողջ հասույթն ուղղվեց աճուրդի մասնակիցների կողմից ընտրված հիմնադրամներին։
Աճուրդի ընթացքում ԱրարատԲանկը ձեռք բերեց Զաբել Բոյաջյանի «Հայկական առասպելներ և պոեմներ» բացառիկ գիրքը՝ տպագրված 1916 թվականին Նյու Յորքում։ Ավելի քան մեկ դար առաջ հենց հեղինակի՝ Զաբելի ինքնատիպ նկարազարդումներով և տասնյակ թարգմանություններով տպագրված գիրքն արժեքավոր է ոչ միայն որպես ազգային ժառանգությունը ներկայացնող ստեղծագործությունների ժողովածու, այլև մեր ինքնությունն արտացոլող ու սերունդներին փոխանցող արժեհամակարգ։
ԱրարատԲանկի նախաձեռնությամբ, աճուրդում հայտնի հայուհու գրքի ձեռքբերման հասույթն ուղղվել է «Սիթի օֆ Սմայլ» բարեգործական հիմնադրամին՝ իր կարևոր ներդրումն ունենալով նրանց ապաքինման գործում։
Զաբել Բոյաջյանը ծնվել է 1872-ին, Դիարբեքիրում։ Հայրը՝ Թովմաս Բոյաջյանը, Օսմանյան կայսրությունում Անգլիայի փոխհյուպատոսն էր, իսկ մայրը՝ Քեթրին Ռոջերս Բոյաջյանը` անգլուհի, որը տիրապետում էր հայոց լեզվին։ Համիդյան ջարդերի ժամանակ հոր սպանությունից հետո, Զաբելը 1895 թվականին ընտանիքի հետ տեղափոխվում է Լոնդոն, որտեղ սովորում է Սլեյդ գեղարվեստի դպրոցում։ Հետագայում դառնում է կայացած նկարչուհի, գրող եւ թարգմանչուհի:
