Հայաստանի ամենահետաքրքիր ու միևնույն ժամանակ քիչ լիարժեք ներկայացված վայրերից մեկը համարվում է Հին Խնձորեսկը։ Սա ոչ թե պարզապես գյուղ է, այլ ամբողջ մի ժայռափոր քաղաք, որտեղ մարդիկ ապրել են դարեր շարունակ՝ ստեղծելով յուրահատուկ կենսակերպ և մշակույթ։
Հին Խնձորեսկի գլխավոր առանձնահատկությունը նրա բնակավայրերի կառուցվածքն է։ Տները փորված են ժայռերի մեջ՝ ստեղծելով բնական պաշտպանված տարածք։ Տեղանքը կազմված է հարյուրավոր քարանձավներից, որոնք ժամանակին ծառայել են որպես բնակարաններ, պահեստներ և նույնիսկ եկեղեցիներ։
Պատմական տվյալների համաձայն՝ այստեղ բնակություն է եղել մինչև 20-րդ դարի կեսերը։ Մարդիկ ապրել են բավականին կազմակերպված կյանքով՝ ունենալով դպրոցներ, եկեղեցիներ և նույնիսկ առանձին թաղամասեր։
Թաքստոց և պաշտպանություն
Հին Խնձորեսկի կառուցվածքը պատահական չէ։ Ժայռերի մեջ կառուցված տները դժվար հասանելի էին թշնամիների համար, ինչը հատկապես կարևոր էր պատերազմի և արշավանքների ժամանակ։
Տեղացիները հաճախ օգտագործել են նաև փայտե կախովի կամուրջներ և թաքստոցներ՝ վտանգի դեպքում արագ տեղաշարժվելու համար։ Այս ամենը դարձրել է Խնձորեսկը յուրահատուկ «բնական ամրոց»։
Լեգենդներ և մոռացված պատմություններ
Տարիների ընթացքում այս վայրի շուրջ ձևավորվել են տարբեր պատմություններ և լեգենդներ։ Ոմանք պատմում են թաքնված ուղիների և գաղտնի անցումների մասին, որոնք միացրել են տարբեր քարանձավներ։ Մյուսները վստահ են, որ այստեղ դեռ կան չուսումնասիրված հատվածներ։
Այս պատմությունները ավելի են ուժեղացնում վայրի խորհրդավոր մթնոլորտը և գրավում այցելուներին։
Ժամանակակից Խնձորեսկը
Այսօր Հին Խնձորեսկը դարձել է զբոսաշրջային հետաքրքիր ուղղություն։ Այցելուները կարող են քայլել ժայռերի արանքով, մտնել քարանձավներ և զգալ այն կյանքը, որը եղել է այստեղ դեռ ոչ վաղ անցյալում։
Վայրի ամենահայտնի հատվածներից է նաև կախովի կամուրջը, որը կապում է ձորի երկու կողմերը և հնարավորություն տալիս վերևից տեսնել ամբողջ այս յուրահատուկ քաղաքը:
Հին Խնձորեսկը այն վայրերից է, որտեղ պատմությունն ու բնությունը միահյուսվել են՝ ստեղծելով յուրահատուկ աշխարհ։ Սա ոչ միայն հետաքրքիր զբոսաշրջային կետ է, այլ նաև կենդանի վկայություն այն մասին, թե ինչպես կարող է մարդը հարմարվել բնության պայմաններին և ստեղծել ամբողջական քաղաք՝ ժայռերի ներսում։
