ՀՀ ԳԱԱ ակադեմիկոս, արևելագետ-թուրքագետ Ռուբեն Սաֆրաստյանը ֆեյսբուքյան էջում տեղեկացնում է, որ մի քանի ժամ առաջ ԱՄՆ Ազգային հետախուզության տնօրենի գրասենյակը գաղտնազերծեց ԱՄՆ հետախուզական համայնքի 2026 թ. «Տարեկան սպառնալիքների գնահատում» զեկույցը:
Այնտեղ հատուկ տեղ է հատկացված Հայաստանին։
««ԱՄՆ-ի հովանավորությամբ օգոստոսի 8-ին Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև անցկացված Խաղաղության գագաթնաժողովը հնարավորություն ստեղծեց, որպեսզի երկու երկրները հաստատեն տևական խաղաղություն և նպաստեց տարածաշրջանային կայունության աճին։ Խաղաղության գագաթնաժողովի արդյունքներից էին խաղաղության պայմանագրի պայմանների վերաբերյալ նախնական համաձայնությունը և ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից կառավարվելիք «Միջազգային խաղաղության և բարգավաճման Թրամփի ուղու» (TRIPP) ստեղծման ծրագրերը, որը Հայաստանի հարավով Ադրբեջանը կկապի իր Նախիջևան էքսկլավի հետ՝ բացելով առևտրային հոսքեր երկու պետությունների և ամբողջ տարածաշրջանի համար։ Այս զարգացումները նշանակալի փոփոխություն են ստեղծում հայ-ադրբեջանական հարաբերությունների ուղղության մեջ։ 2020 և 2023 թվականներին Ադրբեջանը ռազմական ճանապարհով վերականգնեց վերահսկողությունը իր Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի տարածաշրջանի նկատմամբ, որը մինչ այդ գտնվում էր Երևանի աջակցությունը վայելող էթնիկ հայ բնակչության վերահսկողության ներքո։ Օգոստոսի 8-ից ի վեր երկու կողմերն էլ, ըստ երևույթին, պատրաստակամ են եղել պահպանելու Խաղաղության գագաթնաժողովից ստացված դրական ընթացքը։ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանին հրադադարի խախտումները կտրուկ նվազել են և այժմ գրեթե բացակայում են։ 2025 թվականի հոկտեմբերին Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը հայտարարեց, որ Ադրբեջանը վերացրել է Ադրբեջանի տարածքով դեպի Հայաստան բեռնափոխադրումների սահմանափակումները, և Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը օրերի ընթացքում փոխադարձեց այդ քայլը։ Այդ ժամանակից ի վեր Ադրբեջանը Հայաստան է մատակարարել բենզին և թույլատրել է ցորենի տարանցիկ փոխադրումներ։ Խաղաղության համաձայնագրի վերջնական կնքման ճանապարհին դեռևս կան խոչընդոտներ։ Օրինակ՝ նախագահ Ալիևը շարունակում է պնդել, որ Հայաստանը պետք է փոխի իր սահմանադրությունը՝ հեռացնելով այն հղումը, որը նա բնութագրում է որպես Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը Հայաստանի մաս ներկայացնող ձևակերպում։ Այդ քայլը կպահանջի Հայաստանում սահմանադրական հանրաքվեի անցկացում, որի արդյունքն երաշխավորված չէ»։
