Իրանի կանանց ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքականի ևս երկու անդամներ, որոնք մասնակցել են Ավստրալիայում անցկացված Ասիայի գավաթի խաղարկությանը, ապաստան են խնդրել այդ երկրում։ Դրա մասին հայտնել է CNN-ը՝ հղում անելով աղբյուրին։
Ըստ հեռուստաալիքի՝ ևս մեկ խաղացող և մարզչական անձնակազմի մեկ անդամ հրաժարվել են վերադառնալ Իրան։ Հավաքականի մնացած խաղացողները վերադառնում են տուն։
Ավելի վաղ՝ մարտի 10-ին, Ավստրալիայի ներքին գործերի նախարար Թոնի Բըրքը հայտարարել է, որ ապաստան է տրամադրվել հինգ խաղացողների, որոնց թվում՝ թիմի ավագ Զահրա Ղանբարիի։ Նրանք դուրս են բերվել հյուրանոցից, որտեղ թիմը մնացել էր մրցաշարի ընթացքում, և տեղափոխվել են անվտանգ վայր՝ կառավարության պաշտպանության ներքո։ Բըրքը նշել է, որ ապաստանի առաջարկը մնում է բաց թիմի մնացած անդամների համար։
Ականատեսները CNN-ին պատմել են, որ երեքշաբթի այն հյուրանոցում, որտեղ իջևանել էր Իրանի ազգային հավաքականը, փորձել են կանխել թիմի ավտոբուսի մեկնումը Գոլդ Քոստ օդանավակայան։ Ըստ նրանց՝ խաղացողներից մեկը, կարծես, լաց է եղել, երբ անվտանգության աշխատակիցները թիմին ուղեկցել են ավտոբուս։
Իրանի կանանց հավաքականը պարտվել է խմբային փուլի բոլոր երեք՝ մարտի 2-ին՝ Հարավային Կորեայի (0-3), մարտի 5-ին՝ Ավստրալիայի (0-4) և մարտի 8-ին՝ Ֆիլիպինների (0-2) հետ խաղերում։ Առաջին խաղից առաջ թիմը չի կատարել ազգային օրհներգը, ինչը քննադատության է արժանացել Իրանում։ Սակայն հաջորդ երկու խաղերում խաղացողները կատարել են օրհներգը և զինվորական ողջույն ասել։
ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը նախօրեին հայտարարել է, որ Ավստրալիան մրցաշարից հետո պետք է ապաստան տրամադրի իրանցի մարզիկներին, հակառակ դեպքում նրանք տուն վերադառնալուց հետո «ամենայն հավանականությամբ կսպանվեն»։
