ԵՄ-ն պետք է արագացնի ընդլայնումը. Կայա Կալաս

Եվրամիությունը պետք է ավելի արագ շարժվի նոր անդամներ ընդգրկելու համար, հայտարարել է ԵՄ դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Կայա Կալասը, գրում է Politico-ն։
«Ընդլայնումը պետք է մնա արժանիքների վրա հիմնված, սակայն ներկայիս համատեքստում պետք է արագացնենք տեմպը,- Բրյուսելում ԵՄ դիվանագետների տարեկան համաժողովում հայտարարել է Կալասը։- Ընդլայնումը ռուսական իմպերիալիզմի հակաթույն է և նշան, որ պատմության մեջ ամենաահավակնոտ բազմակողմ նախագիծը՝ Եվրամիությունը, մտադիր է պահպանվի»։
Կալասի կոչը՝ արագացնել ԵՄ թեկնածու երկրների ինտեգրումը, տեղի է ունենում Եվրահանձնաժողովի, որը կողմ է, և ազգային մայրաքաղաքների միջև արագ ընդլայնման օգտին հանդես եկող լարված քննարկումների ֆոնին, որոնք աջակցում են ավելի աստիճանական մոտեցմանը։
Անցյալ շաբաթ ԵՄ դեսպանները մերժել են սահմանափակ արտոնություններով նոր անդամներ ընդունելու հնարավորությունը։
Կալասի խոսքերն ամրապնդում են այն միտքը, որ ԵՄ ընդլայնումը պարզապես բյուրոկրատական գործընթաց չէ, որի ընթացքում թեկնածուները համապատասխանում են դաշինքի չափանիշներին, այլև աշխարհաքաղաքական ընտրություն, ինչպես արդեն նշել է Եվրահանձնաժողովի նախագահ Ուրսուլա ֆոն դեր Լայենը։
«Ընդլայնումը նկարագրվել է որպես Միության ամենահաջող արտաքին քաղաքականություն, որն ընդլայնում է կայունության, խաղաղության և բարգավաճման գոտին»,- նշել է Կալլասը՝ մեջբերելով Եվրոբարոմետրի տվյալները, որոնք ցույց են տալիս ընդլայնման լայն աջակցությունը։
ԵՄ դիվանագետը, որը ցանկացել է անանուն մնալ, նշել է, որ չնայած Խորհրդի և Հանձնաժողովի միջև առկա տարաձայնություններին, երկրները կձեռնարկեն բոլոր ջանքերը՝ ապահովելու համար, որ ընդլայնման գործընթացը շարունակի իր հունով։
Ներկայում աշխատանքներ են տարվում՝ ապահովելու համար, որ ԵՄ Խորհրդի հաջորդ երեք նախագահությունները կենտրոնանան նոր անդամ պետությունների ընդունման վրա՝ Ուկրաինայի հետ բանակցությունները մինչև 2027 թվականի վերջն ավարտելու նպատակով, նույնիսկ եթե անդամակցության պայմանագրի ստորագրումը կարող է ավելի երկար տևել։
Ուկրաինայի անդամակցության վերաբերյալ հանրային քննարկման հեռանկարը մտահոգում է ԵՄ որոշ առաջնորդների, որոնք վախենում են, թե դա կարող է արմատական կուսակցությունների համար նյութ դառնալ՝ շահագործելու համար Ֆրանսիայում, Ֆինլանդիայում և մյուս երկրներում հաջորդ տարի անցկացվելիք ընտրություններում։
