Թրամփը չի բացառել ԱՄՆ ցամաքային զորքեր Իրանում տեղակայելու հնարավորությունը

«Ես չեմ անհանգստանում ցամաքային զորքերի համար, ինչպես ասում է յուրաքանչյուր նախագահ. «Ցամաքային զորքեր չեն լինի»։ Ես դա չեմ ասում,- The Post-ին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է Թրամփը։ -Ես ասում եմ. «Նրանց, հավանաբար, պետք չեն լինի» կամ «Եթե դրա անհրաժեշտությոնը լինի»։
Թրամփը կիրակի Daily Mail-ին հայտնել է, որ պատերազմն, ըստ իր գնահատականների, կտևի մոտ «չորս շաբաթ», սակայն երկուշաբթի The Post-ին տված հարցազրույցում ակնարկել է, որ այդ ժամկետը կարող է կրճատվել։
«Ամեն ինչ բավականին արագ է ընթանում,- ասել է նա։ -Մենք ճիշտ ժամանակացույցի վրա ենք, նույնիսկ ղեկավարության առումով ժամանակացույցից առաջ ենք՝ 49 զոհ, և կարծում էինք, որ դա կտևի առնվազն չորս շաբաթ, սակայն մենք դա արեցինք մեկ օրում»։
Թրամփը հայտարարել է նաև, որ ինքը չի անհանգստանում Իրանի ահաբեկչության կիրառման համար՝ ի պատասխան ԱՄՆ հարձակումների։
«Մենք կհաղթահարենք դա, ինչպես մնացած ամեն ինչ, կհաղթահարենք դա»,- ասել է Թրամփը։
Նախագահը նշել է, որ հարվածը սկսելու վերջնական որոշումն ընդունել է հինգշաբթի Ժնևում անցկացված «վերջնական բանակցություններից հետո», մասամբ՝ նրա պատճառով, որ հետախուզական տվյալներ էին ստացվել, որ Իրանը գաղտնի վերսկսել է միջուկային նախագծերի վրա աշխատանքները։
Թրամփը պնդում է, որ իր գործողությունները «ճիշտ» էին, և որ ամերիկացիների մեծ մասն աջակցում է իրեն՝ չնայած նախնական հարցումները հակառակն են ցույց տալիս՝ պնդելով, որ «խելագարներին» միջուկային զենք ձեռք բերելու թույլտվություն տալը նույնիսկ տարածաշրջանային հակամարտությունից ավելի վատ կլինի։
Շաբաթ և կիրակի օրերին Reuters/Ipsos-ի անցկացրած հարցումը ցույց է տվել, որ ամերիկացիների միայն 27%-ն է հավանություն տվել հարվածներին, մինչդեռ 43%-ը դեմ է եղել դրանց, իսկ 29%-ը չի որոշել։
«Կարծում եմ՝ հարցումները շատ լավն են, սակայն ինձ չեն հետաքրքրում հարցումները։ Ես պետք է ճիշտ վարվեմ։ Դա պետք է վաղուց արվեր,- ասել է Թրամփը։ -Չեմ կարծում, թե աջակցության մակարդակը ցածր է։ Սակայն խոսքը հարցումների մասին չէ։ Իրանին, որը խելագարների կողմից ղեկավարվող երկիր է, չի կարելի թույլ տալ, որ միջուկային զենք ունենա»։
