Ինչ է տեղի ունենում օրգանիզմում

Կրծքագեղձի քաղկեղը սկսվում է այն պահին, երբ կրծքագեղձի բջիջներից մեկը ենթարկվում է գենետիկ փոփոխության (մուտացիայի) և սկսում է անվերահսկելի բազմանալ։ Այդ բջիջները ժամանակի ընթացքում կարող են ձևավորել ուռուցք և տարածվել հարակից հյուսվածքների կամ այլ օրգանների վրա։

Կրծքագեղձի քաղկեղի որոշ դեպքերում մեծ դեր ունի ժառանգականությունը։ Եթե ընտանիքում եղել են այս հիվանդությամբ տառապող մայր, քույր կամ տատ, ապա ռիսկը կարող է զգալիորեն բարձրանալ։ Սակայն մասնագետները շեշտում են՝ հիվանդների մեծ մասը չունի ընտանեկան պատմություն, ինչը նշանակում է, որ քաղցկեղը կարող է առաջանալ նաև առանց ժառանգական նախադրյալների։
