Թոշակների բարձրացումը ծայրահեղ անհրաժեշտություն է, դա անելը զուտ սեփական աթոռը պահելու համար՝ ծայրահեղ բարոյազուրկ դրսևորում։ Այս մասին գրել է «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համահիմնադիր Մանե Թանդիլյանը:

«Երբ թոշակների բարձրացումը իրականացվում է ընտություններից մի քանի ամիս առաջ, չնայած ընդամենը հունվար ամսին Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտարարել էր, թե «Եթե մենք, օրինակ, 20 000 դրամով բարձրացնենք թոշակը, միևնույն է, խնդիրները չեն լուծվելու», խոսում է այն մասին, որ իշխանության գործողությունների նպատակը բացառապես սեփական դիրքերի պահպանումն է գահավիժող վարկանիշի ֆոնին։ Սա նշանակում է, որ այդ հնարավորությունն առկա է եղել, բայց չեն արել՝ հույս ունենալով, որ դա կօգտագործեն իրենց պարգևավճար տալու համար։ Ու հենց դրա համար թոշակառուները պետք է պատժեն այս վարքագիծը՝ զրո ձայն տալով։

Ամո՛թ է թոշակառուների խոցելի վիճակը նախընտրական խաղալիք դարձնելը։

Թոշակառուները, ամբողջ հասարակությունը պետք է հասկանան, որ կարճաժամկետ պոպուլիստական քայլերն իրենց հետևում թաքցնում են վտանգներ, որոնք կհանգեցնեն լուրջ խնդիրների մեր պետության և ամբողջ բնակչության համար, իսկ դրա գինը հազարապատիկ բարձր է, քան 10 000 դրամը։

Հետևաբար որևէ պարագայում իշխանափոխությունն այլընտրանք չունի։ Երկիրը կործանման հասցրած իշխանությունը պետք է հեռանա՝ մեր հայրենակիցների, այդ թվում՝ թոշակառուների ընտրության միջոցով»,-գրել է նա:
