Իջևանի պահապան հուշարձանը․ բացահայտելով Հայաստանը (մաս 11)

Տավուշի մարզկենտրոն Իջևան քաղաքի մուտքի հատվածում կանգնած է մի արձան, որը տարիներ շարունակ դարձել է քաղաքի ամենաճանաչելի խորհրդանիշներից մեկը։ Բաց թևերով կնոջ կերպարը առաջին հայացքից շատերի մոտ ասոցացվում է ազատության գաղափարի հետ, սակայն իրականում այն կրում է ավելի խոր ու ազգային իմաստ։ Արձանը հայտնի է «Մայր Հայաստան» անվամբ և խորհրդանշում է հայրենիքի մայրական կերպարը՝ հոգատար, խաղաղասեր և միաժամանակ ուժեղ։
Արձանը տեղադրվել է 1971 թվականին՝ խորհրդային շրջանի այն տարիներին, երբ արվեստում լայնորեն կիրառվում էին հավաքական ու գաղափարական կերպարներ։ Կնոջ կերպարը այստեղ ներկայացված է ոչ որպես առանձին անհատ, այլ որպես ընդհանրացված մայր՝ ժողովուրդը պաշտպանող, քաղաքը պահող ու նրան դիմավորող։ Դրա համար էլ արձանը տեղադրված է հենց քաղաքի սկզբնամասում՝ կարծես բաց գիրկով ընդունելով Իջևան մտնող յուրաքանչյուր այցելուի։
Բացված թևերը խորհրդանշում են խաղաղություն, պաշտպանություն և հույս։ Տավուշի սահմանամերձ բնույթն ու պատմական իրողությունները այս կերպարին տալիս են առավել խորքային նշանակություն․ այստեղ մայրական կերպարը միաժամանակ և՛ խնամող է, և՛ պահապան։ Արձանը տարիների ընթացքում դարձել է ոչ միայն գեղարվեստական տարր, այլ նաև քաղաքային ինքնության մի մաս՝ ճանաչելի բոլոր սերունդների համար։
Այսօր «Մայր Հայաստան» արձանը Իջևանում ընկալվում է որպես լուռ, բայց խոսուն հուշարձան, որը հիշեցնում է խաղաղության արժեքը, մարդկային ջերմությունը և այն ուժը, որով կարող է կանգուն մնալ մի ամբողջ քաղաք։ Այն Իջևանի այն կետերից է, որտեղ քարն ունի հիշողություն, իսկ կերպարը՝ ուղերձ։
