Գլոբալ տաքացումը վտանգի տակ է դնում սուրճի համաշխարհային շուկան

Կլիմայի փոփոխությունը վտանգի տակ է դնում աշխարհում սուրճի մատակարարումները և հանգեցնում է սպառողական գների աճի, մինչդեռ դժվարությունների մեջ գտնվող ֆերմերները կոչ են անում իրենց կառավարություններին անհապաղ գործել։
Անկախ գիտնականների և հաղորդակցության մասնագետների Climate Central խումբը վերլուծել է 2021–2025 թվականների ջերմաստիճանները և համեմատել դրանք ածխածնի արտանետումների բացակայության հիպոթետիկ իրավիճակի հետ, հաղորդում է Euronews-ը։ Գիտնականները պարզել են, որ մարդու կողմից պայմանավորված կլիմայի փոփոխությունը ավելի հաճախ է հանգեցնում ջերմաստիճանի՝ «սուրճի վնասի շեմից» (30℃) բարձրացմանը աշխարհի հիմնական արտադրական շրջաններում։
Հինգ խոշորագույն արտադրող երկրները՝ Բրազիլիան, Կոլումբիան, Եթովպիան, Ինդոնեզիան և Վիետնամը, կլիմայի փոփոխության հետևանքով տարեկան միջինում բախվում են լրացուցիչ 57 օր ծայրահեղ շոգի։ Այս երկրներին բաժին է ընկնում աշխարհի սուրճի մատակարարումների 75%-ը։
Երբ ջերմաստիճանը բարձրանում է 30℃-ից ավելի, սուրճի ծառերը ենթարկվում են ջերմային սթրեսի, ինչը կարող է նվազեցնել բերքատվությունը, վատացնել հատիկների որակը և մեծացնել բույսերի խոցելիությունը հիվանդությունների նկատմամբ։
Արդյունքում սուրճի մատակարարումների ծավալն ու որակը նվազում են, իսկ գները աճում են ամբողջ աշխարհում։ ԵՄ ներմուծվող սուրճի մեծ մասը գալիս է Բրազիլիայից (34%) և Վիետնամից (24%)՝ երկու երկրներից, որոնք հատկապես ծանր են տուժում հանածո վառելիքի այրման հետևանքով առաջացած տաքացումից։
Բերքատվության կրճատումն ու գների աճը ամենաուժգինը հարվածում են փոքր ֆերմերներին, որոնց բաժին է ընկնում համաշխարհային արտադրության շուրջ 80%-ը։ Այնուամենայնիվ, 2021 թվականին այս փոքր տնտեսությունները ստացել են անհրաժեշտ ֆինանսավորման ընդամենը 0,36%-ը՝ կլիմայի փոփոխության հետևանքներին հարմարվելու համար։
Climate Central-ի տվյալներով, մեկ հեկտար տարածքով ֆերմայի ադապտացիայի միջին արժեքը կազմում է օրական 2,19 դոլար (մոտ 1,85 եվրո)՝ ավելի քիչ, քան մեկ գավաթ սուրճի գինը շատ երկրներում։
