«Մանչեսթեր Սիթին» հաղթեց «Նյուքասլ Յունայթեդին»

Անգլիական Պրեմիեր լիգայի 27-րդ տուրի շրջանակում «Մանչեսթեր Սիթին» սեփական հարկի տակ՝ «Էթիհադ» մարզադաշտում, ուժերը չափեց «Նյուքասլ Յունայթեդի» հետ։ Հանդիպումն ավարտվեց «քաղաքաբնակների»՝ 2:1 հաշվով հաղթանակով։
Խաղում հաշիվը բացվեց արդեն 14-րդ րոպեին. աչքի ընկավ Նիկո Օ’Ռայլին՝ առաջ մղելով տանտերերին։ Թեև 22-րդ րոպեին Լյուիս Հոլին հաջողվեց վերականգնել հաշվի հավասարությունը, սակայն ընդամենը 5 րոպե անց նույն Օ’Ռայլին դարձավ դուբլի հեղինակ՝ խփելով մանչեսթերյան ակումբի հաղթական գնդակը։
Այս խաղից հետո «Մանչեսթեր Սիթին» վաստակեց 56 միավոր և ամրապնդվեց ԱՊԼ-ի մրցաշարային աղյուսակի երկրորդ հորիզոնականում։ «Նյուքասլը» 36 միավորով 10-րդ տեղում է։
Առաջնության հաջորդ տուրում «քաղաքաբնակներն» արտագնա խաղում կմրցեն «Լիդս Յունայթեդի» հետ, իսկ «կաչաղակները» տանը կընդունեն «Էվերթոնին»։ Երկու հանդիպումներն էլ նախատեսված են փետրվարի 28-ին։
