Հորդանանը քննադատել է գրեթե ողջ Մերձավոր Արեւելքի հանդեպ Իսրայելի իրավունքի մասին ԱՄՆ դեսպանի հայտարարությունը

Հորդանանը դատապարտել է Իսրայելում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Մայք Հաքաբիի հայտարարությունն այն մասին, որ հրեական պետությունն աստվածաշնչյան իրավունք ունի Մերձավոր Արեւելքի գրեթե ողջ տարածքի հանդեպ։ Այս մասին նշվել է թագավորության ԱԳՆ հայտարարությունում։
«Արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը դատապարտել է Իսրայելում ԱՄՆ դեսպանի հայտարարությունները, որոնցում նա ասել է, որ ընդունելի կլինի, եթե Իսրայելը վերահսկի ողջ Մերձավոր Արեւելքը՝ ի հավելումն Արեւմտյան ափի»,- նշվել է հաղորդագրությունում։
ԱԳՆ-ն նման հայտարարությունն անվանել է դիվանագիտական նորմերի խախտում եւ մերձավորարեւելյան երկրների ինքնիշխանության դեմ ոտնձգություն։ Նախարարությունում նշել են, որ Հաքաբիի հայտարարությունը հակասում է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի խոսքերին այն մասին, որ Հորդանան գետի Արեւմտյան ափի անեքսիան անթույլատրելի է։
Մինչ այդ Հաքաբին ամերիկացի լրագրող Թաքեր Կառլսոնի հարցազրույցում ասել էր, որ հիանալի կլիներ, եթե Իսրայելը կարողանար վերցնել Նեղոսից մինչեը Եփրատ ընկած հողերը, որոնք Աստված խոստացել է Աբրահամին «Հին ուխտում»։ Լրագրողը ճշտել է, որ խոսքը Մերձավոր Արեւելքի ողջ տարածքի մասին է, որտեղ այժմ գտնվում են Հորդանանի, Սիրիայի, Լիբանանի հողերը, Սաուդյան Արաբիայի եւ Իրաքի մեծ մասը, եւ հարցրել է. լեգիտի՞մ են արդյոք այժմ Սուրբ գրքի վրա հիմնված նկրտումները։ Դիվանագետն ասել է, որ «վստահ չէ, որ այդպես է»։
