Ջավախքից մի խումբ գործիչներ հայտարարություն են տարածել, որը ներկայացնում ենք ստորև.
«Մենք՝ Սամցխե-Ջավախքի և Ծալկայի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներս, խորը մտահոգություն ենք հայտնում Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց կաթողիկոսի և վեց եպիսկոպոսի նկատմամբ քրեական գործի հարուցման փաստն ու դատապարտում այդ շրջանակներում իրականացվող հալածանքները։ Մենք անընդունելի ենք համարում Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցու և նրա հոգևոր առաջնորդների վրա ճնշում գործադրելու իրավական մեխանիզմների կիրառումը։ Նման գործողությունները խաթարում են կրոնական ազատության հիմքերը և հավատացյալների՝ իրենց հոգևոր կյանքը ազատորեն վարելու իրավունքը՝ դրանով իսկ լուրջ մտահոգության տեղիք տալով ջավախահայ շրջանակներում։
Մենք մեր վրդովմունքն ենք արտահայտում նաև Ավստրիայում եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովի խոչընդոտման փորձերի կապակցությամբ։ Համոզված ենք, որ եկեղեցական հաստատությունների գործունեությանը միջամտելը հակասում է մարդու իրավունքների միջազգային չափանիշներին, այդ թվում՝ խղճի, կրոնի և հավաքների ազատությանը։
