Իտալական Միլան և Կորտինա դ’Ամպեցո քաղաքներում ընթացող 25-րդ ձմեռային Օլիմպիական խաղերում Հայաստանի լեռնադահուկային սպորտի ներկայացուցիչ Հարություն Հարությունյանն ավարտեց իր մրցելույթները։
Հայ մարզիկի վերջին մեկնարկը ոլորավայրէջք (slalom) մրցաձևում էր, որտեղ, ցավոք, նրան չհաջողվեց տեղ զբաղեցնել ամփոփիչ արձանագրությունում։ Առաջին վայրէջքից հետո Հարությունյանը ցույց էր տվել 1:10.12 ժամանակ և ընթանում էր 37-րդ հորիզոնականում։ Սակայն վճռորոշ՝ երկրորդ փորձի ժամանակ նա խախտում թույլ տվեց մրցուղում, ինչի պատճառով որակազրկվեց և դուրս մնաց պայքարից։
Մրցումային օրը բավականին բարդ ստացվեց նաև համաշխարհային աստղերի համար․ 57 լեռնադահուկորդ չկարողացավ հատել եզրագիծը կամ որակազրկվեց։ Նրանց թվում էին հսկա ոլորավայրէջքի օլիմպիական չեմպիոն, բրազիլացի Լուկաս Պինեյրո Բրոտենը և առաջին փորձի առաջատար, նորվեգացի Ատլե Լի Մաքգարտը։ Արդյունքում հաշվարկային տեղ գրավեց ընդամենը 39 մարզիկ։
Օլիմպիական չեմպիոնի կոչումը նվաճեց շվեյցարացի Լոիկ Մեյարը։ Պատվո հարթակի երկրորդ աստիճանին կանգնեց ավստրիացի Ֆաբիո Գշտրայնը, իսկ լավագույն եռյակը եզրափակեց նորվեգացի Հենրիկ Կրիստոֆերսենը։
Հիշեցնենք, որ ավելի վաղ՝ փետրվարի 14-ին, Հարություն Հարությունյանը հանդես էր եկել նաև հսկա ոլորավայրէջքում, որտեղ 81 մասնակիցների պայքարում գրավել էր 59-րդ տեղը։ Այսպիսով, դահուկորդներ Կատյա Գալստյանից և Միքայել Միքայելյանից հետո նա ևս ավարտեց օլիմպիական պայքարը։
Ձմեռային խաղերում Հայաստանը դեռևս ներկայացուցիչներ ունի․ գեղասահորդներ Կարինա Ակոպովա – Նիկիտա Ռախմանին զույգը այսօր՝ փետրվարի 16-ին հանդես կգա ազատ ծրագրով։ Կարճ ծրագրի արդյունքներով նրանք ընթանում են 12-րդ տեղում։
