Իտալիայի հայտնի «Սիրո կամարը» փլուզվել է Սուրբ Վալենտինի գիշերը

Իտալիայի հարավում՝ Պուլիա մարզի Մելենդունյո ափին գտնվող Torre Sant’Andrea-ի հայտնի ժայռային կամարը, որը կոչվում էր «Սիրո կամար», փետրվարի 14-ի գիշերը փլուզվել է: Մի քանի օր շարունակված ուժեղ անձրևներն ու քամիները հանգեցրել են ժայռի կործանմանը, և այժմ կամարի «կամրջային» մասից մնացել է միայն քարերի կույտ:
Տեղի բնակիչները և զբոսաշրջիկները երկար տարիներ այս վայրն անվանում էին «սիրո խորհրդանիշ»: Ըստ լեգենդի՝ երիտասարդ զույգը, որ համբուրվելիս է եղել կամարի տակ, խորտակվել էր հանկարծակի բարձր ալիքից և մահացել: Այդ ողբերգությունից հետո տեղացիները որոշել են, որ եթե սիրահարները միասին լողան կամարի տակով, նրանց սերը կլինի անխախտ:
Վերջին շաբաթներին Իտալիայի հարավն ու կենտրոնը տուժել են ծայրահեղ անբարենպաստ եղանակից՝ հեղեղումներ, կարկուտ, կայծակն ու ուժեղ քամի: Թեև ծովի էրոզիան միշտ փոխել է Սալենտոյի ափը, սակայն այս անգամ եղանակային պայմանները, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, արագացրել են փլուզումը:
«Սիրո կամարը» տարիներ շարունակ համարվում էր վտանգավոր, և 2014 թվականից շրջակայքի որոշ հատվածներ արգելված էին այցելուների համար: Այժմ զբոսաշրջիկները կարող են միայն հեռվից նայել այն, ինչ մնացել է նախկին խորհրդանիշից:
