Իրանի զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի պետ, գեներալ-մայոր Սեյեդ Աբդոլռահիմ Մուսավին արձագանքել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի հայտարարություններին՝ Իրանի դեմ ռազմական գործողություններ սկսելու վերաբերյալ, հայտնում է Mehr-ը։

Կիրակի օրը կայացած միջոցառման ժամանակ գեներալ Մուսավին անդրադարձել է ԱՄՆ նախագահի՝ Իրանի դեմ ռազմական գործողություններ ձեռնարկելու վերջին սպառնալիքներին՝ Թրամփին խորհուրդ տալով երկու անգամ մտածել՝ նախքան որևէ քայլ ձեռնարկելը։ Նա ԱՄՆ նախագահի հակաիրանական հայտարարությունները բնորոշել է «նվաստացուցիչ մեկնաբանություններ, որոնք չպետք է հնչեին, եթե նա իրոք ցանկանում է բանակցել Իրանի հետ»։

«Եթե Թրամփն իրոք պատերազմ է ուզում, ինչո՞ւ է բարձրացնում բանակցությունների հարցը»,- ասել է նա։

Իրանի զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի պետը զգուշացրել է Թրամփին, որ «պատերազմ սանձազերծելու դեպքում Իրանը Թրամփին այնպիսի դաս կտա, որը նա չի մոռանա»։

ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն ուրբաթ հայտարարել էր, որ «Իրանում վարչակարգի փոփոխությունը լավագույն բանը կլիներ, որ կարող էր տեղի ունենալ»։

Ավելի ուշ Reuters գործակալությունը, հղում անելով իր աղբյուրներին, հայտնել էր, որ ամերիկյան զինվորականները պատրաստվում են Իրանի դեմ տևական գործողությունների՝ բանակցությունների ձախողման դեպքում։
