Թենիսի Հայաստանի պատանեկան հավաքականի անդամներ Մարիա Ազիզյանն ու Քրիստինա Զախարյանը հաղթող են ճանաչվել Ծաղկաձորի գլխավոր մարզահամալիրում անցկացված Tennis Europe-ի Մ16 տարեկանների 3-րդ կատեգորիայի մրցաշարի աղջիկների զուգախաղում: Եզրափակչում նրանք 6:3, 7:5 հաշվով առավելության են հասել Ալինա Դոբրիանի և Սոֆյա Ֆիլիպենինայի նկատմամբ, հաղորդում է ԿԳՄՍՆ-ի կայքը:

Հայաստանի մյուս ներկայացուցիչ Առնո Ավետիսյանն արծաթե մեդալ է նվաճել տղաների մենախաղում: Եզրափակչում նա զիջել է բելառուսցի Ալիակսանդր Վիարսոտկսիին: Վերջինիս հետ Ավետիսյանը հանդես է եկել նաև տղաների զուգախաղում դարձյալ նվաճելով փոխչեմպիոնի տիտղոսը:

Մրցաշարին հետևել և պարգևատրման արարողությանը մասնակցել են ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարի տեղակալ Հասմիկ Ավագյանը և Հայաստանի թենիսի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Վարդան Զաքարյանը։ ԿԳՄՍ նախարարի տեղակալը շնորհավորել է պատանի թենիսիստներին գրանցած բարձր արդյունքների համար և ընդգծել՝ սա ոչ միայն անձնական ձեռքբերում է, այլև կարևոր նվաճում հայկական թենիսի համար։ Հասմիկ Ավագյանը հույս է հայտնել՝ նվաճումները նոր խթան կհանդիսանան առաջ շարժվելու և միջազգային մրցահարթակներում նոր բարձունքներ նվաճելու համար:

Մինչև 16 տարեկանների մրցաշարին 11 երկրի 55 մարզիկ-մարզուհի է մասնակցել։ Հայաստանի հավաքականի կազմում հանդես են եկել նաև Հմայակ Ավետիսյանը, Նարեկ Մուրադյանը, Սամվել Գևորգյանը, Գոռ Բախտավորյանը, Լիլիթ Բաբայանը, Արինա Մելիքյանը, Գայանե Բզնունին և Սոֆյա Զախարյանը։

Օրերս նույն մարզահամալիրում անցկացվել է նաև Tennis Europe-ի մինչև 12 տարեկանների 2-րդ կատեգորիայի մրցաշարը, որին մասնակցել է 9 երկրի 53 ներկայացուցիչ։

Տղաների մենախաղում հաղթող է ճանաչվել Ղազախստանի ներկայացուցիչ Գաբրիել Բրեգվաձեն։ Աղջիկների մենախաղի եզրափակչում Կարոլինա Կոպոտևան 6:4, 6:1 հաշվով առավելության է հասել Սոֆյա Վասիլևայի նկատմամբ։ Զուգախաղի մրցումներում հաղթող են դարձել Ալեքսանդր Բեզրիդա-Միրոն Մյախկով և Կարոլինա Կոպոտևա-Եսենիա Պալչիկովսկայա զույգերը։
