Այո՛, ընտրությունը ինքնիշխանության, սուվերեն պետություն ունենալու կամ ծայրագավառ լինելու մեջ է, և պետք է ընտրել անկախությունը, սուվերենիտետը, ինքնիշխանությունը, իսկ դրա համար Հայաստանը պետք է կանգնի Ռուսաստանի կողքին, լինի Ռուսաստանի բարեկամն ու ազնիվ դաշնակիցը, հակառակ պարագայում Հայաստանը դառնալու է Արևմուտքի ծայրագավառը՝ Ռուսաստանի դեմ գեոպոլիտիկ պայքարում, Հայաստանը դառնալու է Արևմուտքի վասալը և իր պետական և ազգային շահերը, իր ժողովրդի ապագան ծառայեցնելու է Արևմուտքի շահերի համար՝ հանուն արևմտյան արժեքների և գեոպոլիտիկ պայքարի Ռուսաստանի դեմ։

 Այո, ընտրությունը խաղաղության և պատերազմի մեջ է, և պետք է ընտրել խաղաղությունը, իսկ խաղաղության համար Հայաստանը պետք է կանգնի Ռուսաստանի կողքին, լինի Ռուսաստանի իսկապես դաշնակիցն ու բարեկամը՝ թքած ունենալով, որ դրա արդյունքում կարող է փչացնել իր հարաբերությունները Արևմուտքի հետ։

 Հայաստանի ապագան, հայ ժողովրդի ապագան, հայոց պետականության ապագան Ռուսաստանի հետ է, քանզի մեր պետական բոլոր շահերը, մեր ժողովրդի բոլոր ազնիվ երազանքները համընկնում են Ռուսաստանի պետական շահերի և ռուս ժողովրդի երազանքի հետ, և սա որքան շուտ գիտակցենք, այդքան ավելի քիչ զրկանքների և թանկ գին չվճարելով մենք կկարողանանք լուծել մեր անվտանգության խնդիրները և մեր ապագա սերունդներին ժառանգենք անվտանգ, բարեկեցիկ և արդար Հայաստան։

 Մեծ հաշվով ընտրությունը գիտակցելու, մտածելու և տգիտության էմոցիաներով առաջնորդվելու, սեփական շահերը գիտակցելու կամ օտար պետությունների շահերը սպասարկելու մեջ է, և կարծում եմ՝ մենք պարտավոր ենք ընտրել գիտակցված որոշումներ կայացնելու և մեր պետության ու ժողովրդի շահերով առաջնորդվելու տեսանկյունից։

 Տեսեք, ժողովուրդ ջան, Իրանի շուրջ ձևավորված գործընթացում ռեգիոնալ բոլոր խաղացողները, նույնիսկ նրանք, ովքեր Իրանի հետ լավ հարաբերություններ կամ ռազմավարական տեսանկյունից նույնիսկ կարող են ընկալվել թշնամիներ, դեմ են և փորձում են հակադրվել Միացյալ Նահանգներին, որպեսզի Միացյալ Նահանգները նոր պատերազմ չստեղծեն մեր տարածաշրջանում։
Ինչու՞ Որովհետև այդ պետությունները հասկանում են, որ Միացյալ Նահանգները խնդիր է ստեղծելու իրենց քթի տակ՝ հետո իրենք հեռանալու են, բայց այդ պրոբլեմը մնալու է տարածաշրջանի երկրներին, և հետո մեր ռեգիոնի պետությունները իրենք պետք է ապրեն այդ խնդիրների հետ, ինչը եղավ Սիրիայում, Իրաքում, և չեն ցանկանում, որպեսզի նոր Սիրիա կամ Իրաք ստանան իրենց հարևանությամբ։

Սա խոսում է այն մասին, որ հասուն պետությունները կամ նրանց էլիտաները հասկանում են, որ ռեգիոնալ խնդիրները պետք է լուծվեն ռեգիոնալ խաղացողների մասշտաբով, այն, ինչ առաջարկում է Ռուսաստանը, որ Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան հակասությունները ևս լուծվեն ռեգիոնալ խաղացողների մակարդակով՝ 3+3 ֆորմատով, որպեսզի արևմտյան գերտերությունները չմիջամտեն և իրենց խաղի կանոնները չհաստատեն, քանզի նրանք ստեղծում են պրոբլեմներ իրենց սահմաններից հեռու տարբեր ռեգիոններում, և իրենց երկրներում հանգիստ ապրում են, իսկ տեղի ժողովուրդներն ու պետությունները հայտնվում են քաոսի կամ քաոսի կողքը ապրելու պրոբլեմի առջև։

 Սա ևս մեկ ապացույց է՝ հասկանալու համար, որ չի կարելի թույլ տալ, որ գերտերությունները գան և իրենց քիթը խոթեն մեր տարածաշրջանի խնդիրների մեջ։
