«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
news.rambler.ru–ն «Քաղաքական քողարկում. փորձագետը՝ ինքնիշխանության հարցում Հայաստանի աննախադեպ քայլի մասին» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ հունվարի կեսերին Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը հայտարարեց ԱՄՆ-ի հետ շրջանակային համաձայնագրի մ ա սին, որը նա խ ա տ ե ս ո ւ մ է T R I P P Development-ի ստեղծում: Ընկերությունը պատասխանատու կլինի միջանցքի զարգացման համար՝ 49 տարվա պայմանագրով և այն երկարաձգելու իրավունքով:
Քաղաքագետ և «Digoria Expert Club»-ի անդամ Միխայիլ Վարշավսկին «Svobodnaya Pressa»-ին տված հարցազրույցում նշել է, որ այդ զարգացումը նշանակում է, որ Վաշինգտոնը քաղաքական հայտարարություններից անցնում է այդ հիմնական զարկերակի գործնական նախագծման: Փաստորեն, «տեխնիկական խորհրդատուի» քողի տակ Միացյալ Նահանգները դառնում է ամբողջ Հարավային Կովկասի տրանսպորտային կոնֆիգուրացիայի ճարտարապետը։ «TRIPP Development կառավարող ընկերության բաժնետոմսերի 74 %-ը վերահսկելով և բոլոր տեխնիկական պարամետրերը (ուղղորդումից մինչև թողունակություն) որոշելով՝ ԱՄՆ–ը, ստեղծելով այլընտրանք ռուսական և իրանական երթուղիներին, երկարաժամկետ լծակներ է ձեռք բերում Կենտրոնական Ասիայի և Եվրոպայի միջև տարանցիկ հոսքերի վրա», - բացատրել է զրուցակիցը։
Վարշավսկին կարծում է, որ այդ նախագիծը երկկողմանի սուր է Հայաստանի համար։ Մի կողմից՝ Երևանը ստանում է ներդրումների, ենթակառուցվածքների արդիականացման և տարանցիկ հանգույցի կարգավիճակի խոստումներ, մյուս կողմից՝ կամավոր կերպով իր տարածքի մի մասի նկատմամբ ռազմավարական վերահսկողությունը զիջում է արտաքին կառավարմանը, ինչն աննախադեպ քայլ է ազգային ինքնիշխանության առումով։ «ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Վենսի այցը Հայաստան Սպիտակ տան կողմից նախագծի նկատմամբ հովանավորության խորհրդանշական հաստատում է և օգնում է հանրության ուշադրությունը ներքին խնդիրներից տեղափոխել «բարգավաճ տարանցիկ ապագայի» պատկերի վրա։ Այսպիսով, TRIPP-ը մի նախագիծ է, որտեղ լոգիստիկան և սոցիալ-տնտեսական օգուտները ծառայում են որպես քաղաքականության քողարկում։ Դա օգուտ է բերում ԱՄՆ–ին, որը ձեռք է բերում ազդեցության մշտական կետ, օգուտ է բերում Ադրբեջանին, որին տրամադրվում է ցամաքային միջանցք, և կենսական նշանակություն ունի Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ռեժիմի համար՝ որպես իշխանության հենասյուն։ Սակայն դա Հայաստանի համար երկարաժամկետ հետևանքներ ունի. դա նշանակում է ինքնիշխանության մասնակի կորուստ ու համակարգված զիջումներ Ադրբեջանին։ Իսկ ավելի ուշ, երբ Բաքվի ախորժակը մեծանա, Վաշինգտոնը կկարողանա ճնշում գործադրել Երևանի վրա՝ օգտագործելով TRIPP սխեման», - ընդգծել է Վարշավսկին։
