Եվրախորհրդարանի պատգամավորները Ադրբեջանին կոչ են արել ազատ արձակել Արցախի ղեկավարության 15 ներկայացուցիչներին

15 հայ գերիների ազատ արձակումը կլիներ ևս մեկ կարևոր քայլ Հարավային Կովկասում երկարատև խաղաղության հասնելու ուղղությամբ, ասված է Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի անդամների համատեղ հայտարարության մեջ։
«Փետրվարի 5-ին, հինգշաբթի, Բաքվի ռազմական դատարանը 19 ձերբակալված հայերից 15-ին, որոնք դեռևս պահվում են Ադրբեջանում և ձերբակալվել են նախկին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կապակցությամբ, դատապարտեց երկարատև ազատազրկման։ Մենք խորապես ցավում ենք այդ որոշման համար, որը նախատեսում է հինգ ցմահ ազատազրկում»,- ասված է Եվրախորհրդարանի պատգամավորների հայտարարության մեջ։
Ինչպես ընդգծվում է հայտարարության մեջ, անցյալ տարի Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարությունը «նշանակալի քայլեր է ձեռնարկել Հայաստանի հետ խաղաղության և հաշտեցման ուղղությամբ»՝ ստորագրելով Վաշինգտոնի հռչակագիրը, նախաստորագրելով խաղաղության համաձայնագրի տեքստը և թույլ տալով տասնամյակների ընթացքում առաջին անգամ ապրանքների տարանցումը իր տարածքից դեպի Հայաստան։
«2026 թվականի հունվարին նա ազատ արձակեց Ադրբեջանում բանտարկված չորս հայերի՝ 2020 և 2023 թվականներին նրանց ձերբակալություններից հետո։ Հենց անցյալ շաբաթ Ադրբեջանի նախագահը, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանի վարչապետը, արժանացան 2026 թվականի Զայեդի մարդկային եղբայրության մրցանակին՝ «ի նշան խաղաղության ամրապնդմանն ուղղված նրանց հետևողական ջանքերի»։ Այդ ոգով մենք Ադրբեջանի իշխանություններին կոչ ենք անում շարունակել զարգացնել առկա դրական դինամիկան և ազատ արձակել Ադրբեջանում պահվող բոլոր հայերին։ Նրանց ազատ արձակումը կլինի բարի կամքի նշանակալի ժեստ և Հարավային Կովկասում երկարատև խաղաղության հասնելու ևս մեկ կարևոր քայլ»,- ասված է Եվրախորհրդարանի պատգամավորների հայտարարության մեջ։
