Այն տարածաշրջանում, որտեղ գտնվում է Ադրբեջանը, այն միակ երկիրն է, որը կախված չէ որևէ տեսակի ներմուծվող էներգիայից, հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը ԱՄՆ Առևտրի պալատում միջազգային հարաբերությունների, Մերձավոր Արևելքի և Թուրքիայի փոխնախագահ Քուշ Չոքսինի գլխավորած պատվիրակության հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ։
«Մենք ինքնաբավ ենք նավթի, գազի, նավթամթերքի, նավթաքիմիական նյութերի և էլեկտրաէներգիայի ոլորտում, և արտահանում ենք վերը նշված բոլորը։ Այսպիսով, արտահանման աճին զուգընթաց, որը օգտակար կլինի շատ երկրների համար, սա հենց մեր նպատակն է»,-նշել է նա։
Նա նշել է, որ խողովակաշարերով բնական գազ են արտահանում 16 երկիր և աշխարհում առաջին տեղում են խողովակաշարով գազի մատակարարման առումով։
«Բայց միևնույն ժամանակ, մենք ցանկանում ենք օգտագործել մեր էներգետիկ ներուժը՝ Ամերիկայից և այլ երկրներից առաջատար ընկերություններ ներգրավելու համար, որպեսզի նրանք մեզ հետ համագործակցեն արհեստական բանականության և թվային վերափոխման ոլորտում։
Ինչ վերաբերում է բրածո վառելիքին, որը տարիներ շարունակ խտրականության է ենթարկվել որոշակի քաղաքական օրակարգի պատճառով, մենք ուրախ ենք, որ ինչպես մյուս բոլոր ոլորտներում, նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի քաղաքականությունը հիմնված է իրատեսական սցենարի վրա, հեռու է պոպուլիստականից և հիմնված է իրականության վրա: Աշխարհը չի կարող ապրել առանց բրածո վառելիքի, և բրածո վառելիքի պաշարներով հարուստ երկրները չպետք է մեղադրվեն դրա համար: Դուք հիշատակեցիք COP-ը, և որպես COP-ը ընդունող երկրի ղեկավար իմ ուղերձներից մեկն այն էր, որ մեզ չպետք է մեղադրեն նավթ և գազ ունենալու համար։
Այն փաստը, որ մենք ներդրումներ ենք կատարում վերականգնվող էներգիայի մեջ և ներգրավում ներդրումներ, միաժամանակ ունենալով առնվազն 100 տարվա բնական գազի պաշարներ ոչ միայն ներքին սպառման, այլև արտահանման համար, իսկապես ցույց է տալիս մեր պատասխանատվությունը», - ասել է Ալիևը:
