Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները օրենսդրական փոփոխություններ են նախաձեռնում «Զանգվածային լրատվության մասին» օրենքում՝ այն ավելի խստացնելու և ընդդիմադիր լրատվամիջոցների համար նոր սահմանափակումներ մտցնելու նպատակով։ Հատկապես խորհրդարանական ընտրություններից առաջ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին և նրա թիմակիցներին խիստ անհրաժեշտ է հնարավորինս լայն վերահսկողություն սահմանել լրատվական դաշտի նկատմամբ, հակառակ պարագայում գործող իշխանությունների պարտությունը կարելի է կանխորոշված համարել։

ՔՊ մեր աղբյուրների փոխանցմամբ՝ օրենսդրական նախաձեռնությունների մշակմամբ զբաղվում է Ազգային ժողովի գիտության, կրթության, մշակույթի, սփյուռքի, երիտասարդության և սպորտի հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովը՝ Սիսակ Գաբրիելյանի գլխավորությամբ, ինչպես նաև կառավարության կողմից ստեղծված «Հանրօգուտ մեդիամիջավայր» անվանումով հիմնադրամը։ Անցած տարվա ապրիլին կառավարությունը որոշում կայացրեց պետական միջոցների հաշվին հիմնադրամ ստեղծել, որը, ըստ պաշտոնական պատճառաբանության, հեռուստաալիքներին պետք է դրամաշնորհներ տրամադրեր հանրօգուտ մեդիաբովանդակություն ստեղծելու համար։

Մեր աղբյուրը նշեց, որ օրենքի փոփոխություններով նախատեսվում է հնարավորինս խստացնել լրատվամիջոցների ֆինանսական և բովանդակային վերահսկողությունը, ինչպես նաև լուրջ արգելքներ սահմանել՝ ընդհուպ պատժել, զրկել հավատարմագրումից և պետական գրանցումից բոլոր այն ԶԼՄ-ներին, որոնք կաշխատեն գործող իշխանությունների դեմ։ Ըստ աղբյուրի՝ արդեն առաջիկա շաբաթներին համապատասխան օրենքի նախագիծը ներկայացվելու է կառավարության քննարկմանը, ապա, ընդունվելու պարագայում, ուղարկվելու է խորհրդարան՝ քննարկման։ Գործող իշխանություններն արդեն իրականացրել են օրենքների փոփոխություններ՝ սահմանափակելով դիտորդական առաքելությունների լիազորությունները, և այժմ էլ ձեռք են մեկնում ԶԼՄ-ներին։

Տեղեկություններ կան, որ առաջիկայում կփորձեն նաև սահմանափակել քաղաքական կուսակցությունների իրավունքները։ Եվ բոլոր այս գործողություններն իրականացվում են Եվրամիության փորձագիտական աջակցությամբ։
