Իրաքի խորհրդարանը կրկին հետաձգել է երկրի նոր նախագահի ընտրությունները՝ քաղաքական լարված պայքարի և նոր վարչապետի թեկնածուի դեմ ԱՄՆ-ի ճնշման ֆոնին, հայտնում է AFP-ն։

Սա արդեն երկրորդ դեպքն է, երբ խորհրդարանը հետաձգում է նախագահական ընտրությունները, որոնք առաջին անգամ պետք է կայանային անցած շաբաթ։ AFP-ի թղթակիցը խորհրդարանում հայտնել է, որ կիրակի օրը անհրաժեշտ քվորում չի ապահովվել։

Ըստ պաշտոնական INA գործակալության, քվեարկությունը հետաձգվել է, սակայն նոր ամսաթիվը դեռ չի համաձայնեցվել։ Խորհրդարանի մամուլի ծառայությունը հայտնել է, որ խոսնակը կհանդիպի կուսակցական բլոկների ղեկավարների հետ՝ վերջնական ամսաթիվ նշանակելու համար։

Գործող կանոնի համաձայն, ազդեցիկ վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնում է շիա մուսուլման, խորհրդարանի խոսնակինը՝ սուննի, իսկ հիմնականում արարողակարգային նախագահի պաշտոնը՝ քուրդ։

Երկու հիմնական քրդական կուսակցությունները դեռ պետք է որոշեն նախագահի թեկնածուին, իսկ ամենամեծ շիա դաշինքը, չնայած Նուրի ալ-Մալիքիի թեկնածության աջակցությանը վարչապետի պաշտոնում, բախվում է ԱՄՆ-ի սպառնալիքին դադարեցնել Իրաքին տրամադրվող աջակցությունը, եթե նա զբաղեցնի այդ պաշտոնը։

Շաբաթ օրը շիա խմբավորումների դաշինքը՝ Կոորդինացիոն խորհուրդը, որը դարձել է հիմնական իշխող կոալիցիա, հայտարարեց, որ հաստատում է իր թեկնածու ալ-Մալիքիին։ Երեքշաբթի ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը ալ-Մալիքիին անվանել էր «շատ վատ ընտրություն» և հայտարարել, որ նրա ընտրվելու դեպքում Վաշինգտոնը «այլևս չի օգնի Իրաքին»։

Իրաքի միակ վարչապետը, որը պաշտոնավարել է երկու ժամկետ, 2006-2014 թվականներին իր վարչապետության ընթացքում ԱՄՆ-ի հետ հակասությունների մեջ էր հայտնվել Իրանի հետ աճող կապերի պատճառով։ Կոորդինացիոն կենտրոնին մոտ աղբյուրները հայտնել են, որ շիա առաջնորդների կարծիքները բաժանվել են․ ոմանք ցանկանում են, որ ալ-Մալիքին հրաժարվի, քանի որ նրա վերադարձի դեպքում ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից հնարավոր է պատժամիջոցներ կիրառվեն։

Ինչ վերաբերում է նախագահական ընտրություններին, քրդական կուսակցությունները դեռ պետք է համաձայնեցնեն թեկնածուին, որը պետք է ընդունվի մյուս բլոկների կողմից և ստանա խորհրդարանի երկու երրորդի ձայները։

Նախագահի պաշտոնը սովորաբար զբաղեցնում է Քրդստանի հայրենասիրական միությունը (ՔՀԿ)։ Այս տարի մրցակից Քրդստանի ժողովրդավարական կուսակցությունը (ՔԺԿ) առաջադրել է իր թեկնածուին՝ արտգործնախարար Ֆուադ Հուսեյնին։
