Պատերազմ Եկեղեցու դեմ. իշխանության ինստիտուցիոնալ հարձակումը, այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է քաղաքագետ Սուրեն Սուրենյանցը։
«Վերջին օրերին Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու շուրջ զարգացող գործընթացներն այլևս հնարավոր չէ մեկնաբանել իրավական վեճերի, կարգապահական խնդիրների կամ առանձին պաշտոնյաների վարքագծի շրջանակում։
Գործ ունենք համակարգային, հետևողական և նպատակային գործողությունների հետ, որոնք իրենց էությամբ իշխանության կողմից հայտարարված պատերազմ են Եկեղեցուն՝ որպես ազգային, հոգևոր և ինստիտուցիոնալ ինքնություն կրող կառույցի։
Մայր Աթոռի վեց եպիսկոպոսների և մեկ քահանայի նկատմամբ քրեական մեղադրանքների առաջադրումը՝ դատական ակտի կատարմանը խոչընդոտելու կեղծ հիմնավորմամբ, այն պարագայում, երբ խոսքը վերաբերում է եկեղեցու ներքին կանոնական հարաբերություններին, փաստացի նշանակում է Եկեղեցու ինքնավար իրավակարգի քրեականացում։ Պետությունը բացահայտորեն ներխուժում է Եկեղեցու ներքին կառավարման դաշտ՝ ուժային և դատական մեխանիզմներով պարտադրելով սեփական քաղաքական կամքը։
Մասյացոտնի թեմի նախկին առաջնորդի հարցը վերածվել է պատրվակի՝ եկեղեցական ամբողջ հիերարխիան թիրախավորելու համար։ Երբ քրեական հետապնդման են ենթարկվում եպիսկոպոսներ՝ Կաթողիկոսի տնօրինություններին կամ Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովի որոշումներին հավատարիմ մնալու համար, գործընթացը կորցնում է իրավական որևէ տրամաբանություն։ Սա ուղիղ ուղերձ է Եկեղեցուն․ ենթարկվել կամ հայտնվել քրեական ճնշման տակ։
Տրամաբանական է ենթադրել, որ այս շղթան կարող է հասնել մինչև Վեհափառ Հայրապետին՝ ամբողջ եպիսկոպոսաց դասը վերածելով քրեական պատասխանատվության ենթակա թիրախի։
Զուգահեռաբար կիրառվում են վարչական և քաղաքական պատժիչ մեխանիզմներ։ Բանակում գնդերեցների ծառայության դադարեցումը չի կարող ընկալվել որպես տեխնիկական կամ կազմակերպչական քայլ։ Դա բացահայտ ճնշման գործիք է, որով իշխանությունը ցույց է տալիս իր պատրաստակամությունը մեկ ակնթարթում Եկեղեցին դուրս մղել պետական և հանրային կարևոր համակարգերից՝ այն օգտագործելով որպես քաղաքական շանտաժի միջոց։
Պատահական չէ նաև ճնշումների սաստկացումը Եպիսկոպոսաց ժողովի անցկացման նախաշեմին։ Սա վկայում է, որ իշխանության իրական նպատակը ոչ միայն առանձին հոգևորականների լռեցումն է, այլ Եկեղեցու հավաքական կամքի ձևավորման կանխումը։ Իշխանությունը վախենում է ոչ թե անհատներից, այլ կազմակերպված, ինքնավար և ինստիտուցիոնալ Եկեղեցուց, որը կարող է հանդես գալ որպես անկախ սուբյեկտ։
Անհրաժեշտ է հստակ արձանագրել, որ տեղի ունեցողը կոպտորեն խախտում է ՀՀ Սահմանադրության 17-րդ հոդվածը, որով ամրագրված է պետություն–եկեղեցի անջատման հիմնարար սկզբունքը։ Սակայն խնդիրը միայն սահմանադրական խախտման մեջ չէ։ Պետական իշխանությունը փաստացի հանդես է գալիս որպես քաղաքական սուբյեկտ, որը Եկեղեցին դիտարկում է ոչ թե որպես ինքնավար ինստիտուտ, այլ որպես վերահսկման ենթակա թիրախ։
Երբ իշխանությունը պատերազմ է հայտարարում Եկեղեցուն, այն փաստացի պատերազմ է հայտարարում սեփական պատմական հիշողությանը, ազգային ինքնությանը և հասարակության ներսում վերջին ինքնավար ինստիտուտներից մեկին։ Վտանգված են սահմանադրական կարգը և հանրային համերաշխությունը»,-գրել է նա։
