Հռոմի հնագույն եկեղեցիներից մեկում՝ Սան Լորենցո ին Լուչինա բազիլիկում, որը գտնվում է քաղաքի կենտրոնում, վերջերս կատարված վերականգնողական միջամտությունից հետո որմնանկարի հրեշտակներից մեկը այնպիսի դիմագծեր է ունեցել, որ շատերը նրանում տեսել են Իտալիայի վարչապետ Ջորջիա Մելոնիի դեմքը։ Սա բուռն արձագանք է առաջացրել Իտալիայի հանրային եւ քաղաքական հարթությունում, գրել է Corriere Della Serra-ն։

Վերականգնմամբ զբաղվել է Բրունո Վալենտինետին, որը, տեղի լրատվամիջոցների տվյալներով, նախկինում եւս կատարել է նման գեղարվեստական աշխատանքներ եւ անգամ մասնակցել է քաղաքականությանը՝ որպես աջ ուղղության թեկնածու։ Ինքը՝ Վալենտինետին, հավաստիացրել է, որ «պարզապես վերականգնել է այն, ինչն արվել էր 25 տարի առաջ, եւ ոչ ոք չէր ասել, թե այդ դեմքը կոնկրետ անձ է», ինչպես նաեւ հերքել է, որ նպատակաուղղված ձեւով պատկերել է Մելոնիին։
Այս իրադարձությունը գրավել է ոչ միայն լրատվամիջոցների, այլեւ պաշտոնական մարմինների ուշադրությունը. Իտալիայի մշակույթի նախարարությունը տեսչական ստուգում է նախաձեռնել, որպեսզի պարզի, թե արդյոք համապատասխանում է վերականգնումը չափորոշիչներին եւ կանոններին, իսկ եթե ոչ՝ միջոցներ ձեռնարկի կերպարի բնօրինակը վերականգնելու համար։ Ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչները կոչ են անում ավելի մանրակրկիտ վերահսկել պատմական հուշարձանների վերականգնողական աշխատանքները։
