Ամերիկահայերը ԱՄՆ Հելսինկյան հանձնաժողովի առջև բարձրացրել են Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիան դատապարտելու հարցը

Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարը գրավոր հարցապնդումով դիմել է ԱՄՆ Հելսինկյան հանձնաժողովին` ընդգծելով, որ Ադրբեջանը մեծացնում է լարվածությունը հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին ու Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հետ շփման գծում, խախտում հրադադարը` դառնալով մարդկային զոհերի պատճառ: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին հայտնեցին Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարի լրատվական ծառայությունից:«Ինչպես հանձնաժողովը տեղյակ է, համագումարը շարունակում է խորապես անհանգստանալ Ադրբեջանում ավտորիտար ռեժիմի գոյությամբ, բանտերում լրագրողների թվով: Առավել մտահոգիչ է ժողովրդավարական արժեքներից հրաժարումը»,-ասված է Ամերիկայի հայկական համագումարի գլխավոր տնօրեն Բրայան Արդունիի հարցապնդման մեջ:
Հելսինկյան հանձնաժողովի նախագահ, Հանրապետական Քրիստոֆեր Սմիթը Եվրոպայում և Եվրասիայում մարդու իրավունքների ճգնաժամի վերաբերյալ իր դիտարկումներն է ներկայացրել լսումներում: Սմիթը նշել է, որ Ադրբեջանում ճնշումները համատարած բնույթ են կրում, հատկապես ԶԼՄ-ների ազատության սահմանափակումը: Լրագրողների պաշտպանության հանձնաժողովի համաձայն` Ադրբեջանը Եվրասիայում բանտերում լրագրողների թվով առաջատար է:
Համագումարն էլ իր հերթին բարձրաձայնել է Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության գոտում 2014-ին և 2015-ին շարունակաբար հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտումների մասին, որոնք հանգեցրել են քաղաքացիական զոհերի, նրանք մինչև անգամ կրակահերթերի տակ են առել Տավուշի մարզի մանկապարտեզներից մեկը: Ադրբեջանական կողմը երկու տարիների ընթացքում 54 հազար անգամ խախտել է հրադադարի ռեժիմն ու շուրջ 1 միլիոն կրակոց արձակել:
