Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ընդունել է Հայաստանում Հնդկաստանի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Նիլակշի Սահա Սինհային՝ Հնդկաստանի Ազգային տոնի՝ Հանրապետության օրվա առթիվ։
Նախագահը շնորհավորել է դեսպանին և Հնդկաստանի բարեկամ ժողովրդին ազգային տոնի կապակցությամբ՝ մաղթելով խաղաղություն, կայուն զարգացում և բարգավաճում։
«Մեր երկրների և ժողովուրդների հարաբերությունները բարեկամական են, պատմական են և քաղաքակրթական, ես վստահ եմ, որ դրանք կլինեն շարունակական և ավելի կսերտանան ու կընդլայնվեն»,- նշել է նախագահը:
Դեսպան Նիլակշին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ընդունելության և ջերմ բարեմաղթանքների համար:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են երկրների միջև բազմաշերտ հարաբերությունների ներկա վիճակն ու դրանց զարգացման հեռանկարները։ Կողմերը կարևորել են համագործակցության խորացումը՝ հատկապես բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների, կրթության, պաշտպանական, ինչպես նաև այլ ռազմավարական նշանակություն ունեցող ոլորտներում։
Առանձնահատուկ ուշադրություն է դարձվել Հայաստանի և Հնդկաստանի միջև առևտրատնտեսական կապերի ակտիվացման անհրաժեշտությանը։ Այդ համատեքստում կողմերը պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել խթանել երկու երկրների գործարար շրջանակների միջև շփումների շարունակական զարգացումը՝ համատեղ գործարար համաժողովների և համագործակցության այլ ձևաչափերի միջոցով։
Զրուցակիցները կարևորել են երկկողմ հարաբերությունների հետագա ամրապնդման և խորացման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ ի շահ երկու բարեկամ ժողովուրդների։ Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև աշնանը Հայաստանում նախատեսվող COP17 համաժողովին՝ ընդգծելով դրա նշանակությունը և հնարավոր համագործակցությունը շրջակա միջավայրի, արհեստական բանականության և թվային տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտներում։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում դրականորեն է գնահատվել Հայաստանի և Հնդկաստանի համագործակցությունը միջազգային հարթակներում՝ նշելով դրա արդյունավետությունն ու փոխադարձ աջակցության կարևորությունը։
