Վենետիկի «անիծված» պալատը, որը կապված է սպանությունների և ինքնասպանությունների հետ, վաճառվում է 17 միլիոն ֆունտով

15-րդ դարի պատմական վենետիկյան պալատը, որը հայտնի է որպես Կա Դարիո, վաճառվում է 17 միլիոն ֆունտ ստեռլինգով:
Grand Canal-ի այս շքեղ նստավայրը հայտնի է ոչ միայն իր ճարտարապետական գեղեցկությամբ, այլև իր մութ համբավով. դրան վերագրվում է անեծք, և շենքը շրջապատում են բազմաթիվ դժբախտությունների լեգենդներ, այդ թվում՝ սպանություններ, ինքնասպանություններ և առեղծվածային մահեր:
Պալացոն, որը կառուցվել է 1489 թվականին՝ վաճառական և դիվանագետ Ջովանի Դարիոյի համար, համարվում է Վենետիկի ճարտարապետական գոհարը։ Ներսում կան ինը ննջասենյակ, ութ սյունապատ լոգասենյակ, մեծ ընդունելության սենյակներ, այգի, նավահանգիստ և տանիքի պատշգամբ՝ քաղաքի ջրանցքների և գմբեթների համայնապատկերային տեսարաններով: Շենքը գտնվում է Մեծ ջրանցքի ամենահեղինակավոր վայրերից մեկում, իսկ 1908 թվականին այն գրավել է նույնիսկ Կլոդ Մոնեին՝ Վենետիկ կատարած իր միակ այցելության ժամանակ։ 1909 թվականին պալատը հիշատակվել է Հենրի Ջեյմսի «Իտալական ժամացույց» ուղեգրության մեջ։
Այնուամենայնիվ, գեղեցկուհու հետևում մի մութ պատմություն է թաքնված. Դարիոյի մահից հետո պալացոն անցավ նրա դստերը՝ Մարիետային և նրա ամուսնուն՝ հարուստ վաճառականին։ Նրանց ճակատագրերը ողբերգական էին. բիզնեսը փլուզվեց, ամուսինը սպանվեց ծեծկռտուքի ժամանակ, իսկ Մարիետան ավելի ուշ ինքնասպան եղավ։ Նրանց որդին մահացել է Հունաստանում՝ առեղծվածային հանգամանքներում, ենթադրաբար, վրեժխնդրության արդյունքում։
1896 թվականին պալատը վարձակալել է ֆրանսիացի բանաստեղծ Անրի դե Ռեգնիեն, բայց շուտով նրան հարվածել է անհայտ հիվանդությունը և ստիպված է եղել լքել քաղաքը։ 1960-ականներին հայտնի տենոր Մարիո դել Մոնակոն շենքը զննելու ճանապարհին տեղի ունեցած լուրջ ավտովթարից հետո հրաժարվեց գնումից։
1970-ականներին այն գնեց իտալացի արիստոկրատ կոմս Ֆիլիպո Ջորդանո դելլե Լանզեն, բայց սպանվեց պալատի ներսում իր սիրեցյալի՝ հարավսլավացի նավաստու կողմից, որը հետագայում մահացավ Լոնդոնում:
1980-ականներին շենքը գնեց իտալացի մագնատ Ռաուլ Գարդինին, ով ներքաշվեց Տանգենտոպոլի կոռուպցիոն սկանդալի մեջ և ինքնասպանություն գործեց Միլանում՝ 1993 թվականին։
2002 թվականին «անեծքը» նորից հայտնվեց, երբ The Who-ի բաս-կիթառահար Ջոն Էնթվիսլը մահացավ սրտի կաթվածից ԱՄՆ հյուրանոցներից մեկում հանգստի համար պալատը վարձակալելուց ընդամենը մեկ շաբաթ անց: 2006 թվականին շենքը գնեց ներկայիս սեփականատերերը ներկայացնող ամերիկյան ֆիրման, որոնց ինքնությունը դեռևս անհայտ է։ Այդ ժամանակից ի վեր պալատը դատարկ է, ինչը միայն բարձրացնում է դրա միստիկ համբավը:
Վաճառքով զբաղվող Christie's-ի ներկայացուցիչները հերքում են անեծքի մասին լուրերը՝ դրանք որակելով որպես «անհիմն պատմություններ»: Ըստ նրանց՝ հինգ դարից ավելի հին շինության համար ողբերգական պատմությունները հազվադեպ չեն, իսկ պալատը հիանալի պահպանված է՝ առանց լայնածավալ վերականգնում կարիքի։
