Այնպիսի տպավորություն է, թե ինչ-որ մեկը որոշել է Crocs-ը ստեղծել... LEGO-ից։ Փարիզի նորաձևության շաբաթվա ընթացքում LEGO-ն և Crocs-ը ներկայացրել են իրենց համատեղ կոշիկները՝ Brick Clogs-ը, որը բառացիորեն նման է հսկայական պլաստիկե աղյուսների։ Դիզայնն արդեն դարձել է ինտերնետային մեմ. որոշ երկրպագուներ հիացած են «անզիջում տարօրինակ» դիզայնով, մինչդեռ մյուսները պարզապես չեն կարողանում հավատալ, որ դա կատակ չէ։
Երկու ընկերություններն էլ համագործակցությունն անվանել են «նոր, ստեղծագործական ձև», բայց Crocs-ը հստակ նախազգուշացում է տվել. այս կոշիկները նախատեսված չեն առօրյայում կրելու համար։ Դրանք ավելի շատ հավաքորդական մոդել են, ավելի հարմար են գովազդի համար, քան առօրյա հագուստի։
Աղյուսե Crocs-ը մանրածախ գինը կլինի 149.99 դոլար և վաճառքի կհանվի փետրվարի 16-ին։
Ապրանքանիշերն արդեն հայտարարել են, որ սա միայն սկիզբն է. կան ավելի շատ համատեղ մոդելներ՝ թե՛ երեխաների, թե՛ մեծահասակների համար։
LEGO-ի երկրպագուների կայքերը խոստովանել են, որ սկզբում լուրը կատակ են համարել։ Բայց հետո խոստովանել են. այո, դա իրական է, և այն բացարձակապես զվարճալի է թվում, և անպայման կդառնա մեմերի թեմա։
Crocs-ը վաղուց հայտնի է իր շքեղ համագործակցություններով՝ General Mills-ից և 7/11-ից մինչև շքեղ Balenciaga: Նոր մոդելը թողարկվել է այն ժամանակ, երբ ապրանքանիշը փորձում է վերականգնել վաճառքը, քանի որ 150 դոլար գինը զգալիորեն բարձր է նախորդ հավաքածուների սովորական 70 դոլար առաստաղից։
Առաջին քննադատներից մեկն արդեն դրական գնահատական է տվել նոր արտադրանքին. Mashable Tech-ի խմբագիր Թիմոթի Բեք Վերթը կոշիկները անվանել է «աղյուսե էպիկական» և հավելել, որ դրանք պետք է տեսնել, որպեսզի հավատալ։
