ria.ru–ն «Փորձագետը պատմել է Հայաստանում խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների հետևանքների մասին» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ այս տարվա հունիսին Հայաստանում նախատեսված խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների արդյունքները կարող են կտրուկ փոխել երկրի արտաքին քաղաքականությունը, ria.ru–ի հետ զրույցում ասել է հայ փորձագետ, Ռազմավարական հետազոտությունների և նախաձեռնությունների վերլուծական կենտրոնի տնօրեն Հայկ Խալաթյանը։ Նա կարծում է, որ 2026 թվականին Հայաստանը կշարունակի ՀԱՊԿ­ում անդամակցությունը «սառեցնելու» իր ներկայիս քաղաքականությունը՝ միաժամանակ մնալով ԵԱՏՄ­ում։ «Այնուամենայնիվ, պետք է հասկանալ, որ 2026 թվականի հունիսի 7­ին կայանալիք ընտրությունները կարող են կտրուկ փոխել Հայաստանի ներկայիս արտաքին քաղաքականությունը», ­ նշել է փորձագետը։

Մասնավորապես, նա կարծում է, որ եթե գործող իշխանությունները հաղթեն, հաշվի առնելով Արևմուտքի հետ սերտ համագործակցության նրանց հանձնառությունը, որը աչք կփակի ընդդիմության բոլոր հալածանքների վրա ռուսական ազդեցության դեմ պայքարի պատրվակով, հնարավոր է, որ արևմտյան երկրները պահանջեն ավելի տեսանելի քայլեր, որոնք ցույց կտան Ռուսաստանից հեռացումը և Արևմուտքի, մասնավորապես ԵՄ­ի հետ մերձեցումը, որն այժմ շատ ավելի հակառուսական դիրքորոշում ունի, քան Միացյալ Նահանգները։ «Ավելին, Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի հետ մերձեցման ուղղությունը նաև ենթադրում է Ռուսաստանից հեռանալու և նրան Հայաստանից և, ընդհանուր առմամբ, տարածաշրջանից դուրս մղելու քայլեր, որոնց նախապայմանները մենք արդեն տեսել ենք վերջին տարիներին», ­ ասել է զրուցակիցը։

Նրա խոսքով, եթե Հայաստանի ընտրություններում հաղթեն Ռուսաստանի հետ դաշնակցային հարաբերությունները պահպանելու հանձնառու ընդդիմադիր ուժերը, ապա կարելի է ակնկալել հայ­ռուսական հարաբերությունների զգալի բարելավում։

«Ընդհանուր առմամբ, կարծում եմ, որ 2026 թվականի ընտրությունների արդյունքները կորոշեն հայ­ռուսական հարաբերությունների ապագա ընթացքը», ­ նշել է փորձագետը։
