Միացյալ Նահանգները աննախադեպ հարվածներ կհասցնի Իրանին, եթե Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը հարձակվի ամերիկյան ռազմական և առևտրային օբյեկտների վրա։ Այս մասին լրագրողներին հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը՝ Սպիտակ տան YouTube ալիքով ուղիղ հեռարձակմամբ։
«Եթե նրանք դա անեն, մենք կհարվածենք նրանց այնպիսի ուժով, որը նրանք երբեք չեն զգացել, և նրանք նույնիսկ չեն հավատա դրան», - ասել է նա՝ պատասխանելով ԱՄՆ ռազմական և առևտրային օբյեկտների վրա Իրանի հնարավոր հարձակման մասին հարցին։

Հունվարի 11-ին CNN-ը հաղորդել է, որ Թրամփը քննարկում է Իրանի դեմ ռազմական տարբերակներ՝ երկրում տեղի ունեցող զանգվածային բողոքի ցույցերի ֆոնին։ Լրատվամիջոցի տվյալներով՝ վերջին օրերին Սպիտակ տան բնակիչը տեղեկացվել է տարբեր միջամտության ծրագրերի մասին՝ հնարավոր հարվածներից մինչև ոչ ռազմական տարբերակներ։ Դրանցից մի քանիսը ներառում էին Թեհրանի անվտանգության ուժերի օգտագործումը բողոքի ցույցերը ճնշելու համար։
