Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտարարել է, թե Գարեգին Բ-ն Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոս չէ և հետևաբար այդ դիրքից նրա կայացրած որոշումները իրենց համար արժեք չունեն և առոչինչ են։ «Տեր Գեւորգ եպիսկոպոս Սարոյանը շարունակում է մնալ Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու Մասյացոտնի թեմի առաջնորդ։»,- ընդգծել է Փաշինյանը։
Վարչապետը այդ գրառումը հրապարակեց այն բանից հետո, երբ այսօր հայտարարվեց, որ Գարեգին Բ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի հունվար 10, 2026 թվակիր Հայրապետական տնօրինությամբ Մասյացոտնի թեմի առաջնորդ Գերշ․ Տ․ Գևորգ եպիսկոպոս Սարոյանը ազատվել է թեմակալ առաջնորդի պաշտոնից։
Հայրապետական տնօրինությամբ Մասյացոտնի թեմի առաջնորդական տեղապահ է նշանակվել Հոգեշնորհ Տ․ Ռուբեն վարդապետ Զարգարյանը։
Եթե Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը պնդում է, թե լեգիտիմ ընտրված և օծված Գարեգին Բ-ն Կաթողիկոս չէ, որովհետև իբր խախտել է Եկեղեցու կանոնակարգը, ապա մենք էլ կարող ենք ասել, որ Փաշինյանը վարչապետ չէ, քանի որ խախտել է կառավարության ծրագիրը։
Ինչպե՞ս կարող է վարչապետը իրեն վերագրել կաթողիկոսի լիազորությունները և իրեն իրավունք վերապահել որոշելու, թե ով է թեմի առաջնորդ, ով՝ ոչ, կամ ով որտեղ պետք է իրականացնի իր հոգևոր ծառայությունը։
Նույն տրամաբանությամբ վաղը ինչ-որ մեկը կարող է ասել, որ չի ընդունում Հայաստանի ՆԳՆ որևէ հրաման, քանի որ գտնում է, որ Ներքին գործերի նախարարին նշանակել է ոչ լեգիտիմ վարչապետը և հետևաբար, հրաժարվում է հաշվի նստել նրա կողմից ընդունված և հաստատված որոշումների հետ։
Սա ի՞նչ անարխիայի քարոզ է երկրի գործադիր իշխանության ղեկավարի կողմից։
