Արթուր Վանեցյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․
 
Վազգեն Սաղաթելյանի և Նարեկ Սամսոնյանի կալանքն այսօր երկարաձգվեց ևս երեք ամսով․․․ Ցավոք, իրավական պետության ու ժողովրդավարության հիմքերը քայքայող այս հերթական որոշումն անակնկալ կամ անսպասելի չէր։ Իրավական ամենաթողությունը վաղուց հատել է բոլոր «կարմիր գծերը», իսկ քաղաքական հայացքների համար շինծու քրեական գործերով մարդկանց ազատությունից զրկելու, ազատ խոսքի իրավունքը սահմանափակելու պրակտիկան նոր թափ է հավաքում, և Վազգենն ու Նարեկը, իսկ նրանց հետ նաև մեր մյուս բոլոր քաղբանտարկյալներն այս պրակտիկայի անմիջական տուժածներն են։
 
Ի պատասխան դատարանի այսօրվա որոշման՝ Նարեկ Սամսոնյանը հացադուլ հայտարարեց, որը, թեև ինձ համար խիստ մտահոգիչ, բայց, վստահ եմ՝ գիտակցված քայլ է։ Ոգու արիություն, տոկունություն ու առողջություն եմ մաղթում տղաներին։ Իսկ քաղաքական դաշտի մեր գործընկերներին, քաղաքական ուժերի ներկայացուցիչներին, Հայաստանի ապագայով մտահոգ քաղաքացիներին հորդորում եմ զգոն ու հետևողական լինել այս գործընթացների նկատմամբ։ Անկախ նրանից, թե ովքեր են հայտնվել իշխանությունների թիրախում, թե ինչ վերաբերմունք ունենք նրանց նկատմամբ, պիտի համախմբված կերպով պայքարենք իշխանությունների կամայականության ու իրավական ամենաթողության դեմ, ընդ որում՝ պայքարենք գործով և ոչ միայն խոսքով ու հայտարարություններով։
