Թերևս կոռեկտության շրջանակներում չէ, երբ ենթական գրում է իր ղեկավարի մասին, բայց բոլորիս հայտնի պատճառներից ելնելով, կարող եմ ինձ թույլ տալ անել դա:
Կրթական ոլորտում վերջին 6 տարիներին կատարվել են փոփոխություններ, որոնք նախարար Աշոտյանը չանել չէր կարող, քանի որ կամ միջազգային պայմանագրերով էին նախատեսված կամ արդեն սկսված էին իր նախորդների կողմից: Թերևս ամենից շատ քննարկվող թեման 12 ամյա կրթության ներդրում էր. քչերն են հիշում, կամ քչերն են ցանկանում հիշատակել, որ այն ներդրվել է 2006թ ին, երբ Արմեն Աշոտյանը ԿԳ նախարար չէր: Առանձնացված ավագ դպրոցների ծրագիրը Հայաստանում ներդրվել է 2008թ ին երբ Աշոտյանը դարձյալ նախարար չէր: Արմեն Աշոտյանի օրոք հանրության շրջանում մինչ այդ առկա բողոքներն ու դժգոհությունները մասնավոր ՈՐՈՇ բուհերի գործունեության և համատարած դիպլոմ տալու նկատմամբ իրականություն դարձավ և արդյունքում 50 ից ավել մասնավոր «բուհեր» փակվեցին: Այս տարիներին դպրոցներում ներդրվեցին «Շախմատ» և «Ազգային երգ ու պար» առարկաները, կանոնակարգվեց դպրոցի տնօրենների և ուսուցիչների նշանակման ընթացակարգը և այլն: Աշոտյանի օրոք Հայաստանը դարձավ միակ ոչ ԵՄ անդամ երկիրը, որը դարձավ Եվրոպայի կրթական կենտրոն` մասնավորապես երեք տարի մեր երկիրը ղեկավարեց Բոլոնիայի քարտուղարությունը, իսկ 2015թ ին Երևանը փաստացի դարձավ Եվրոպայի կրթական մայրաքաղաքը` հյուրընկալելով շուրջ երեք տասնյակ կրթության նախարարների ու հարյուրից ավել պաշտոնական պատվիրակների: Այս օրերին մեր երկիրը համաշխարհային կրթական լրահոսում էր: Մեկ կարևոր ձեռքբերում ևս, Արմեն Աշոտյանի կողմից վարված երկարատև բանակցությունների արդյունքում մեր գիտնականները կկարողանան օգտվել Հորիզոն 2020 բազմամիլիարդանոց ծրագրից որը նախատեսում է գիտական ծրագրերի ֆինանսավորում: Ըստ էության սա անսպառ աղբյուր է մեր գիտնականների համար: Արմեն Աշոտյանի հասարակական ընկալումն իհարկե միանշանակ չէ, քանի որ մի մասի կողմից նա ընկալվում էր որպես կուսակցական մարդ, իսկ շատ ավելի քիչ հատվածն էր նրան դիտում որպես կրթության նախարար: Կարծում եմ, որ հատկապես օտարների հետ շփումներում ու մի քանի օտար լեզուների իմացությամբ մեր երկրի շահերը փայլուն պաշտպանող նման մարդկանց կարիք մեր երկիրն իսկապես ունի, որ շատ կուզենայի, որ նման պատրաստված ու երիտասարդ կադրեր մենք շատ ունենք:
