2026 թվականի առաջին օրը ֆուտբոլային աշխարհը ցնցվեց էկզոտիկ, բայց տագնապալի նորությամբ։ Գաբոնի կառավարությունը որոշում է կայացրել ցրել ազգային հավաքականը՝ Աֆրիկայի ազգերի գավաթի խաղարկությունում գրանցած ձախողումից հետո։ Իշխանությունների զայրոււյթը հասել է նաև թիմի ավագ և լեգենդար հարձակվող Պյեր-Էմերիկ Օբամեյանգին։

Մարոկկոյում ընթացող մրցաշարում Գաբոնի հավաքականը՝ Տյերի Մույումայի գլխավորությամբ, ձախողել է ելույթները F խմբում՝ պարտվելով բոլոր երեք խաղերում (Կամերունին՝ 0:1, Մոզամբիկին՝ 2:3 և Կոտ դ’Իվուարին՝ 2:3): Վերջին խաղում թիմը հաղթում էր 2:0 հաշվով, սակայն ի վերջո պարտվեց:

Գաբոնի սպորտի նախարարի պաշտոնակատար Սիմպլիս-Դեզիրե Մամբուլան հանդես է եկել հեռուստատեսային հայտարարությամբ.

«Հաշվի առնելով Աֆրիկայի ազգերի գավաթում թիմի խայտառակ ելույթը՝ կառավարությունը որոշել է լուծարել մարզչական շտաբը, կասեցնել ազգային հավաքականի գործունեությունը մինչև հետագա ծանուցումը և կազմից հեռացնել Բրունո Էկուելե Մանգային և Պյեր-Էմերիկ Օբամեյանգին»:

Այսպիսով, 36-ամյա Օբամեյանգը, ով հավաքականի պատմության լավագույն ռմբարկուն է (41 գոլ) և Աֆրիկայի 2015 թ. լավագույն ֆուտբոլիստը, ստիպված է ավարտել միջազգային կարիերան ոչ իր կամքով:

Հարձակվողը, ով վնասվածքի պատճառով բաց էր թողել վերջին հանդիպումը, սոցցանցերում մեկնաբանել է կառավարության որոշումը.

«Կարծում եմ՝ թիմի խնդիրներն ավելի խորն են, քան այն փոքր մարդը, որը ես եմ»:

Գաբոնի կառավարության այս քայլը ուղղակիորեն խախտում է ՖԻՖԱ-ի կանոնադրությունը, որը խստիվ արգելում է պետական միջամտությունը ազգային ֆուտբոլային ասոցիացիաների գործերին: Նման դեպքերում ՖԻՖԱ-ն ավանդաբար կիրառում է ամենակոշտ պատժամիջոցները՝ ընդհուպ մինչև երկրի ազգային հավաքականի և ակումբների որակազրկում միջազգային բոլոր մրցաշարերից:

Նախադեպերը շատ են. վերջին տարիներին նմանատիպ պատճառներով ՖԻՖԱ-ն կասեցրել է Զիմբաբվեի, Շրի Լանկայի, Հնդկաստանի, Քենիայի և Չադի անդամակցությունը: Եթե Գաբոնի իշխանությունները չփոխեն իրենց որոշումը, երկրի ֆուտբոլը կհայտնվի միջազգային մեկուսացման մեջ:
