Սուրբ Ծննդյան նախօրեին Լոս Անջելեսի տարածքում տեղատարափ անձրևներ են տեղացել, ինչը հանգեցրել է տարհանումների և որոշ բնակիչներ ջրի մակարդակի բարձրացման պատճառով փրկարարական օգնության կարիք ունեցել, հաղորդում է NBC News-ը։

Սուրբ Ծննդյան առավոտը տարածաշրջանում խոնավ և քամոտ էր, ջրհեղեղներից հետո կանխատեսվում էր անձրևների ուժգնացում, ինչը Կալիֆոռնիայի նահանգապետ Գևին Նյուսոմին ստիպել է արտակարգ դրություն հայտարարել։ Լոս Անջելեսի մայրուղիները ողողված էին ջրով, ցեխով և աղբով։ Սան Բերնարդինո շրջանում հրշեջ ծառայությունը նախօրեին հայտարարել է, որ տարհանման կարիք ունեցող բնակիչներին ավելի քան 120 աշխատակից օգնության կհասնի։

Համացանցում տեսանյութ է հայտնվել, որտեղ երևրում են Կալիֆոռնիա նահանգի Ռայթվուդ քաղաքում չորեքշաբթի ցեխի սողանքների հետևանքով վնասված տները։ Փրկարարները խուզարկել են տները՝ վտանգավոր տարածքների բնակիչներին կոչ անելով տարհանվել և փրկել ավտոմեքենաներում կամ ջրի մեջ մնացած մարդկանց։ Ըստ շրջանի արտակարգ ծառայությունների գրասենյակի՝ չորեքշաբթի երեկոյան Վիկտորվիլի ցուցահանդեսային կենտրոնում տարհանվածների համար նոր ապաստարան է բացվել։

Նյուսոմը արտակարգ դրություն է հայտարարել Լոս Անջելեսում, Օրանժում, Ռիվերսայդում, Սան Բերնարդինոյում, Սան Դիեգոյում և Շաստա շրջաններում՝ ակտիվացնելով արտակարգ ծառայությունները սպասվող ջրհեղեղների, առատ տեղումների և ուժեղ քամիների պատճառով։
