Չինաստանը նոր կայաններում տեղակայել է ավելի քան 100 միջմայրցամաքային բալիստիկ հրթիռներ և չի ցուցաբերում զենքի վերահսկման վերաբերյալ բանակցություններին մասնակցելու մտադրություն։ Պեկինը շարունակում է ընդլայնել իր միջուկային զինանոցը և պատրաստում է ռազմական սցենարներ Թայվանի գրավման համար, հայտարարել է ԱՄՆ պատերազմի նախարարությունն իր զեկույցում։
Փաստաթղթի համաձայն՝ Չինաստանը Մոնղոլիայի հետ սահմանի մոտ գտնվող կայարաններում տեղակայել է ավելի քան 100 DF-31 միջմայրցամաքային բալիստիկ հրթիռ։ ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը նախկինում հայտնել էր այդ կայարանների գոյության մասին, սակայն չէր նշել դրանցում տեղակայված հրթիռների ճշգրիտ քանակը։
Հաշվետվության մեջ նշվում է, որ 2024 թվականի դրությամբ Չինաստանի միջուկային զինանոցը կազմում էր մոտ 600 մարտագլխիկ։ Չնայած արտադրությունը որոշ չափով դանդաղել է նախորդ տարիների համեմատ, ընդլայնման ընդհանուր միտումը շարունակվում է։ ԱՄՆ ռազմական կանխատեսումների համաձայն՝ Պեկինը նախատեսում է մինչև 2030 թվականը ունենալ ավելի քան 1000 միջուկային մարտագլխիկ։
«Մենք շարունակում ենք տեսնել Պեկինի կողմից պատրաստակամության բացակայություն՝ գործողություններ ձեռնարկելու կամ զենքի վերահսկման վերաբերյալ ավելի համապարփակ բանակցություններին մասնակցելու համար», - ասվում է զեկույցի մեջ։
Նշվում է, որ Չինաստանն ակնկալում է, որ կկարողանա կռվել և հաղթել Թայվանի դեմ պատերազմում մինչև 2027 թվականի վերջը։
Սցենարներից մեկը ենթադրում է կղզու ռմբակոծումը 1500-2000 ծովային մղոն հեռավորությունից: Հաշվետվությունում նշվում է, որ նման հարվածների մեծ թիվը կարող է լուրջ բարդացնել և խաթարել ԱՄՆ ներկայությունն Ասիա-խաղաղօվկիանոսյան տարածաշրջանում, որը կարևորագույն զսպող գործոն է:
Վաշինգտոնում Չինաստանի դեսպանատունը հերքել է մեղադրանքները՝ հայտարարելով, որ Չինաստանը հետապնդում է պաշտպանական միջուկային ռազմավարություն և իր ուժերը պահում է ազգային անվտանգության համար անհրաժեշտ նվազագույն մակարդակի վրա և հետևում է միջուկային փորձարկումների մորատորիումի վերաբերյալ իր պարտավորություններին։
