Իսրայելցի պաշտոնյաները մտահոգված են, որ Իրանն ընդլայնում է իր բալիստիկ հրթիռների ստեղծման ծրագիրը, որը տուժել էր տարեսկզբին Իսրայելի ռազմական հարվածների հետեւանքով, եւ պատրաստվում են ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփին տեղեկացնել նրա դեմ կրկին հարձակվելու տարբերակների մասին, հաղորդել է NBC News-ը՝ հղում կատարելով ծրագրերին անմիջականորեն ծանոթ աղբյուրին։
Իսրայելցի պաշտոնյաները նաեւ մտահոգված են, որ Իրանը վերականգնում է ուրանի հարստացման օբյեկտները, որոնք ԱՄՆ-ը ռմբակոծել էր հունիսին, տեղեկացրել են աղբյուրները։
Սակայն, ավելացրել են նրանք, պաշտոնյաները բալիստիկ հրթիռների արտադրության օբյեկտները վերականգնելու եւ վնասված ՀՕՊ համակարգերը վերականգնելու Իրանի ջանքերը համարում են ավելի հրատապ խնդիրներ։
Սպասվում է, որ Թրամփը եւ Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուն կհանդիպեն այս ամսվա վերջին, նախագահի Ֆլորիդայի Մար-ա-Լագո կալվածքում։
Աղբյուրների խոսքով՝ Նեթանյահուն, ինչպես սպասվում է, Թրամփին կներկայացնի այն փաստարկը, որ «Իրանի կողմից բալիստիկ հրթիռային ծրագրի ընդլայնումը սպառնալիք է ներկայացնում, որը կարող է պահանջել արագ գործողություններ»։
Նրանք նշել են, որ նրա փաստարկների մի մասը, ինչպես սպասվում է, կլինի այն, որ Իրանի գործողությունները վտանգ են ներկայացնում ոչ միայն Իսրայելի, այլեւ ամբողջ տարածաշրջանի, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ շահերի համար։ Սպասվում է, որ Իսրայելի առաջնորդը Թրամփին կներկայացնի ԱՄՆ մասնակցության կամ ցանկացած նոր ռազմական գործողություններին օժանդակության տարբերակներ, տեղեկացրել են աղբյուրները։ Դեկտեմբերի 29-ին Նեթանյահուի հետ հանդիպման մասին հարցին Թրամփը հինգշաբթի լրագրողներին ասել է. «Մենք պաշտոնապես չենք պայմանավորվել, բայց նա կցանկանար տեսնել ինձ»։
