«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Դեկտեմբերի 18-ին Գարեգին Երկրորդ Շինարար Ամենայն հայոց կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռի միաբանության հետ Մայր Տաճարում մասնակցեց Երեկոյան ժամերգության, որի ավարտին Նորին Սրբությունը իր հայրական պատգամն ու խոսքն ուղղեց ի զորակցություն Հայոց Եկեղեցու՝ Մայր Աթոռ ժամանած ուխտավորների։

Ներկայացնելով բազմաթիվ անվտանգային մարտահրավերների առաջ կանգնած հայ իրականության ներկա մտահոգիչ իրավիճակը՝ Վեհափառ Հայրապետն իր խոսքում շատ կարևոր դիտարկում էր կատարել, որը ուզում եմ մեջբերել. «Այս պայմաններում, փոխանակ հանրության մեջ հաշտության, հանդուրժողության, միասնության ոգին զորացնելու, Եկեղեցի-Պետություն խաթարված հարաբերությունները վերականգնելու, ընդհակառակը, շարունակվում են հարձակումները մեր Սուրբ Եկեղեցու դեմ»։ Այս մեջբերումից առանձնացնենք «Եկեղեցի-Պետություն հարաբերությունները վերականգնելու» Վեհափառ Հայրապետի լավատեսական միտքը։ Ինչպես արդեն մեկ անգամ անդրադարձել էի, Գերաշնորհ Տեր Խաժակ արք. Պարսամյանը նման միտքը կյանքի կոչելու ճանապարհային քարտեզ էր ներկայացրել։ Սրբազան հոր այդ հոդվածը բավականին տարածում է գտել, և, կարծում եմ, ՀՀ իշխանություններին նույնպես այն հասու պետք է լիներ։ Ես նույնպես, անդրադառնալով Սրբազանի այդ առաջարկին, վստահություն էի հայտնել, որ այն մեծ մասամբ համահունչ է Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի տեսակետներին ու հարցի կարգավորման տեսլականին։

Վեհափառ հայրապետի ուղերձում տեղ գտած վերը նշածս հատվածը հենց դրա վկայությունն էր և իր մեջ հույս էր պարունակում, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունները կվերանայեն իրենց ծայրահեղական դիրքորոշումները Հայ Եկեղեցու նկատմամբ և կփորձեն, այդուհանդերձ, ավելի կառուցողական ու հայանպաստ դիրքորոշում որդեգրել։ Սակայն, ինչպես տեսնում ենք, ՀՀ իշխանությունները դեռևս չեն հասունացել նման դիրքորոշման համար։ Կարծում եմ՝ Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի դեմ դուրս եկած և Ամենայն Հայոց Հայրապետի հրաժարականը պահանջող որոշ բարձրաստիճան հոգևորականներ լավ խորհրդատու չեղան վարչապետին և առանց այն էլ նրա այլասերված ու խեղաթյուրված մտքերը ավելի պղտորեցին։

Միայն Տիրոջ ողորմության ու Ամենայն հայոց Հայրապետի իմաստության ու խոհեմության շնորհիվ է, որ դեկտեմբերի 18-ին ընդդեմ Մայր Աթոռի կազմակերպված սադրանքի պատճառով քաղաքացիական լուրջ բախումներ տեղի չունեցան։ ՀՀ իշխանությունները և որոշ մոլորված հոգևորականներ, կարծում եմ, պետք է հրաժարվեն Գարեգին Շինարար Վեհափառ Հայրապետի հրաժարականը պահանջելու մտքից, հետևեն Վեհափառ հոր հայրական հորդորին ու կանոնական դաշտ վերադառնան՝ հանուն Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի անսասանության և հանուն բաղձալի Հայոց Պետականության։
