Լուսանկարներում համաշխարհային հռչակ ունեցող արվեստագետների գործեր են։ Մի մասը ինքնանկարներ, որտեղ նրանք գրեթե անճանաչելի են, կամ առավելագույնս տձեւ եւ տգեղ, մյուս մասը՝ քանդակներ են, կոմպոզիցիաներ։ Մեկը վերնագրված է «Ընտանիք», մյուսը՝ «Քայլող մարդը», երրորդը՝ «Մարդը շարժման մեջ», չորրորդը՝ «Թագավորն ու թագուհին» եւ այլն։ Այս մասին գրել է վարչապետի տիկին Աննա Հակոբյանը:

«Բոլորը տձեւ են, տգեղ, անհասկանալի։ Որեւէ մեկը հնարավոր չէ նույնականացնել մեր՝ ոչ արվետագետներիս աչքին հասանելի օբյեկտերի հետ։ Մարդ ասելով մենք տեսնում ենք մեզ ծանոթ ֆիսզիկական կառուցվածքով մարդ, քանդակագործը տեսնում եւ ստեղծում է անհասկանալի լղար երկար մի բան։

Պաբլո Պիկասո ասելով մենք պատկերացնում ենք մեզ նման մարդ, ինքը իրեն պատկերում է մարդու եւ գորիլայի միջեւ մի բան։ Ինչու, որովհետեւ նա այդ պահին ստեղծում է ոչ թե սեփական դեմքը, այլ «մահվան հետ հանդիպումը»։

Լեւոն Թոքմաջյանը, ուրեմն, քանդակել է ոչ թե Պարույր Սեւակի դեմքը, այլ՝ «Անլռելի զանգակատուն» պոեմը, այնպես, ինչպես ինքն է դա տեսնում։ Եւ այնպես, ինչպես մենք դա չենք տեսնում։

Դրա համար էլ Լեւոն Թոքմանջյա’նն է քանդակագործը, իսկ մենք՝ ամենքս, մեր գործին ենք, եւ, կարծես թե, արվեստից, նկարչությունից ու քանդակներից շատ բան չենք հասկանում։ Եթե հասկանայինք, ստորեւ բերված արվեստի գործերի համաշխարհային հռչակի գաղտնիքն էլ կհասկանայինք։

Բայց սրանք բոլորը մեր աչքի համար տգեղ, տձեւ եւ անհասկանալի բաներ են, որոնցից ոչ մեկում մարդը ինքն իրեն նման չէ, եւ առհասարակ մարդու էլ նման չէ»,-գրել է նա:
