Պաշտոնական այցի շրջանակում Բեռլինում տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հանդիպումը Գերմանիայի նախագահ Ֆրանկ-Վալտեր Շտայնմայերի հետ:
Նախ տեղի է ունեցել ՀՀ վարչապետի և ԳԴՀ նախագահի առանձնազրույցը, այնուհետև քննարկումները շարունակվել են ընդլայնված կազմերով:
Ֆրանկ-Վալտեր Շտայնմայերը ողջունել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի պաշտոնական այցը և ընդգծել Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունները զարգացնելու իր երկրի պատրաստակամությունը: ԳԴՀ նախագահը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ վարչապետի այցը նոր ազդակ կհաղորդի երկկողմ համագործակցությանը բոլոր ոլորտներում:
Վարչապետը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ հյուրընկալության համար և նշել, որ Գերմանիան Հայաստանի համար առանցքային դաշնակից է ինչպես երկկողմ մակարդակում, այնպես էլ ԵՄ-ի հետ գործընկերության շրջանակում: Վարչապետի խոսքով՝ երկու երկրները միավորում է մարդու իրավունքների, ժողովրդավարության, օրենքի գերակայության նկատմամբ ընդհանուր հանձնառությունը, Հայաստանն ու Գերմանիան ակտիվորեն համագործակցում են երկկողմ և բազմակողմ հարթակներում: Երկրի ղեկավարը հավելել է, որ Հայաստանը ևս շահագրգռված է Գերմանիայի հետ գործընկերությունը նոր մակարդակի բարձրացմամբ:
Զրուցակիցները քննարկել են երկկողմ հարաբերությունների օրակարգային հարցեր: Մտքեր են փոխանակվել ՀՀ-ԵՄ փոխգործակցության հետագա ընդլայնման շուրջ: Զրուցակիցները կարևորել են Հայաստանում Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի (EPC) գագաթնաժողովի անցկացումը և նշել, որ այն կարևոր հարթակ է Եվրոպայի հետ քաղաքական երկխոսության համար։
Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության հաստատմանն ու տարածաշրջանային նշանակության այլ թեմաների:
