Էլեկտրաէներգիայի համաշխարհային գների նոր հետազոտությունը ցույց է տվել, թե որտեղ է մեկ բիթքոյնի արդյունահանումն ամենաէժանը նստում։
Ըստ վարկանիշային աղյուսակի՝ Իրանը զբաղեցնում է առաջին տեղը՝ մեկ բիթքոյնի արդյունահանման էլեկտրաէներգիայի արժեքով, որը կազմում է 1324 ԱՄՆ դոլար, որին հաջորդում է Եթովպիան՝ 1986 դոլարով, գրում է Naked Science-ը։ Նման կերպ այս երկու երկրները հայտնվում են աշխարհի ամենաէներգաարդյունավետ արդյունաբերություններից մեկի կենտրոնում։
Այս արդյունքները ստացվել են կրիպտո ոլորտի նկատմամբ նոր ուշադրության հետնապատկերին։ Բիթքոյնն արդեն գների նոր ռեկորդներ է սահմանել 2025 թվականի համար, էներգետիկայի կարգավորող մարմինները խստացնում են վերահսկողությունը, և մի շարք երկրներ, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ-ն և ԵՄ երկրները թվային արդյունահանման շրջակա միջավայրի վրա ազդեցության սահմանափակման համար նոր միջոցառումներ են պատրաստում։

Թվային ակտիվների հետազոտական առաջատար CoinShares ընկերությունը, վերջերս հայտնել է, որ էլեկտրաէներգիան կազմում է արդյունահանողի ընդհանուր շահագործման ծախսերի ավելի քան 70%-ը։ Հետևաբար, զարմանալի չէ, որ ընկերությունները շարունակում են տեղափոխվել ավելի էժան վայրեր։
