«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
bbc.com–ն իր «Ի՞նչ տեսք ունի «Թրամփի ճանապարհը» Իրանի, Հայաստանի, Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի սահմանին» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ bbc.com–ի թղթակիցը այցելել է «Թրամփի երթուղու» ապագա շինհրապարակ և տեսել Հայաստանի և Իրանի միջև սահմանի երկայնքով գտնվող հին խորհրդային ճանապարհի ու կառույցների ավերակները։
«Բոլորն այստեղ ուզում են տեսնել երկաթուղիներ և գնացքներ, ինչպես Շվեյցարիայում։ Ո՞վ չի ուզում։ Գուցե առաջին գնացքը, որը ես երբևէ կնստեմ, ամերիկյան լինի, չգիտեմ»,– ասել է հայ լրագրող և Ղարաբաղից փախստական Մարութ Վանյանը՝ մատնացույց անելով ռելսերի մնացորդները և ժանգոտած վագոնները Հայաստանի ամենահարավային մասում՝ Սյունիքի մարզի լքված Մեղրի կայարանում։ Այստեղ Իրանի հետ սահմանն է, և «Միջազգային խաղաղության և բարգավաճման համար Թրամփի երթուղին» շուտով անցնելու է այդտեղով։ Այդ հատուկ տարանցիկ գոտին Ադրբեջանին հնարավորություն կտա մուտք գործել իր էքսկլավ Նախիջևանի շրջան՝ լիովին հարգելով Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանությունը։ Համենայն դեպս, դա է Դոնալդ Թրամփի կողմից Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի ղեկավարների հետ ստորագրված համաձայնագրի իմաստը։ Ճանապարհի կառավարումը մինչև 99 տարի ժամկետով կփոխանցվի ամերիկյան ընկերության։ Երկաթուղուց բացի, համաձայնագիրը նախատեսում է գազատարի, նավթատարի և օպտիկամանրաթելային մալուխի կառուցում: Ներկայում և՛ Ալիևը, և՛ Փաշինյանը հայտարարում են, որ երկու երկրների միջև խաղաղություն է հաստատվել, և այլևս պատերազմ չի լինի։ Բայց առայժմ ռուս սահմանապահներն են հայ-իրանական սահմանին: Ընդ որում, Իրանի ներկայությունն ավելի հստակ է զգացվում, քան ռուսական ազդեցությունը: Սյունիքը Իսլամական Հանրապետության համար կարևոր առևտրային հանգույց է: Այստեղի ճանապարհներով երթևեկում են իրանական համարանիշներով բեռնատարներ, բենզալցակայաններում և խանութներում խոսվում է պարսկերեն, իսկ իրանցի աշխատողները վերանորոգում են տեղական ճանապարհները։
Եվ ոչ ոք չի կարող բացատրել, թե ինչպե՞ս են ամերիկյան, իրանական և ռուսական շահերը համակեցության մեջ լինելու այստեղ՝ «Թրամփի երթուղու» բազմամիլիարդանոց շինարարության ընթացքում։
