Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին Bloomberg-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի միջնորդությամբ խաղաղության նախաձեռնությունը քննարկող բանակցողները տարածքային հարցի շուրջ դեռևս համաձայնության չեն եկել, քանի որ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հիասթափություն է հայտնել Կիևի կողմից համաձայնագրի իրականացման գործընթացից։

Զելենսկին հեռախոսազրույցում նշել է, որ ԱՄՆ ծրագրի տարրերը մի շարք «զգայուն հարցերի» շուրջ հետագա քննարկում են պահանջում, դրանց թվում՝ պատերազմից տուժած երկրի անվտանգության երաշխիքների և արևելյան շրջանների նկատմամբ վերահսկողության վերաբերյալ։ Ուկրաինայի առաջնորդը նշել է, որ բանակցությունները դեռևս չեն հանգեցրել Դոնբասի, ներառյալ՝ Դոնեցկի և Լուգանսկի մարզերի վերաբերյալ համաձայնագրի։

«Կա ԱՄՆ-ի, Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի տեսլական, և մենք միասնական տեսակետ չունենք Դոնբասի վերաբերյալ»,- Մեծ Բրիտանիայի, Գերմանիայի և Ֆրանսիայի առաջնորդների հետ հանդիպման Լոնդոն մեկնելուց առաջ հայտարարել է Զելենսկին։

Նա հավելել է, որ Կիևը պնդում է անվտանգության երաշխիքների վերաբերյալ արևմտյան դաշնակիցների, առաջին հերթին՝ ԱՄՆ-ի հետ առանձին համաձայնագիր պետք է կնքել։

Ուկրաինայի նախագահը, որը հայտարարել էր Վաշինգտոն մեկնելու Թրամփի հետ բանակցությունների համար իր պատրաստակամության մասին, վերահաստատել է Կիևի դիրքորոշումը, ըստ որի անվտանգության երաշխիքները գործում են ՆԱՏՕ-ի փոխադարձ պաշտպանության մեխանիզմի սկզբունքի, որը հայտնի է որպես 5-րդ հոդված: Սակայն նա ցանկանում է իմանալ, թե դաշնակիցները ինչ են պատրաստ առաջարկել արևմտյան, քանի որ բանակցողներըն երաշխիքների վերաբերյալ առանձին համաձայնագրի վրա են աշխատում։

«Կա մեկ հարց, որի պատասխանը ես և բոլոր ուկրաինացիները ցանկանում ենք ստանալ. եթե Ռուսաստանը կրկին պատերազմ սկսի, ի՞նչ կանեն մեր գործընկերները»,- եզրափակել է Զելենսկին։
