Հայաստանում ՌԴ դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունը, այլ պաշտոնական կառույցները հարգանքի տուրք են մատուցել 1988թ․ դեկտեմբերի 7-ի ավերիչ երկրաշարժի զոհերի հիշատակին։ Հայտնում է Սպուտնիկ Արմենիա-ն։

«Եղբայրական հայ ժողովրդի հետ սգում ենք այս սարսափելի ողբերգության զոհերի հիշատակը»,- նշված է ՀՀ-ում ՌԴ դեսպանության տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ։

Դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունը հիշեցնում է սարսափելի աղետի և այն մասին, թե ինչպես ԽՍՀՄ իշխանությունները, ռուս ժողովուրդն անմիջապես արձագանքեցին։ Երկրաշարժի օրը Մոսկվայից Հայաստան ժամանեց բարձրակարգ բժիշկներից և ռազմադաշտային վիրաբույժներից կազմված խումբ: Ընդհանուր առմամբ, փրկարարական աշխատանքներին, կամավորներից բացի, մասնակցել են ավելի քան 20 հազար զինվորներ և սպաներ: Ավերված շրջանների վերականգնմանը մասնակցել են խորհրդային բոլոր հանրապետությունները։

Այսօր Գյումրիում Սուրբ Ամենափրկիչ եկեղեցու բակում գտնվող «Անմեղ զոհերին, բարեգութ սրտերին» հուշակոթողի մոտ հարգանքի տուրք են մատուցել Գյումրու ռուսական տան, ռուսական 102-րդ ռազմաբազայի և Լենինականի Կարմիր Դրոշի սահմանապահ ջոկատի ներկայացուցիչները։

Գյումրու գլխավոր հյուպատոսության աշխատակիցներն ու գլխավոր հյուպատոս Իգոր Տիտովն այսօր այցելել են Սպիտակ քաղաք և մասնակցել երկրաշարժի զոհերի հիշատակի օրվան նվիրված հիշատակի միջոցառումներին։

«Փոխօգնության զգացումը հարյուրամյակներ շարունակ ապրում է մեր ժողովուրդների սրտերում և միշտ կապրի»,- իր խոսքում ասել է Տիտովը՝ հիշեցնելով, որ այդ օրերին անձնուրաց աշխատանք են կատարել նաև ՌԴ ՊՆ ԶՈւ 102-րդ ռազմաբազայի զինծառայողները։

Այնուհետև Տիտովը Սպիտակի համայնքապետ Քաջայր Նիկողոսյանի հետ ծաղիկներ է խոնարհել ողբերգության զոհերի հուշարձանին:
