«Լիվերպուլի» եզրային հարձակվող Մոհամեդ Սալահը հայտարարել է, որ հիասթափված է վերջին շրջանում ակումբում իր ունեցած դերից և դիտարկում է հեռանալու տարբերակները։
Եգիպտոսցին վերջին երեք խաղերը մեկնարկել է պահեստայինների նստարանից։ Մերսիսայդցիների վերջին երեք խաղերում 33-ամյա ֆուտբոլիստը խաղադաշտում ընդամենը մեկ խաղակես է անցկացրել։
«Ես պահեստայինների նստարանին եմ արդեն երրորդ խաղն անընդմեջ, և կարծում եմ՝ սա իմ կարիերայում առաջին անգամն է։ Զգացողություն է, որ ակումբը որոշել է ինձ դարձնել քավության նոխազ։
Բայց ես չեմ կարծում, որ ես եմ խնդիրը։ Ես շատ բան եմ արել այս ակումբի համար։ Ես ուզում եմ հարգանք։ Ես պարտավոր չեմ ամեն օր պայքարել իմ դիրքի համար, քանի որ ես այն վաստակել եմ։ Ես ոչ մեկից լավը չեմ, բայց ես վաստակել եմ իմ տեղը։ Այդպիսին է ֆուտբոլը։ Այդպիսին է այն։ Ֆուտբոլում երբեք չգիտես, թե ինչ է պատահելու։
Բայց ես չեմ հաշտվի այս իրավիճակի հետ։ Ես այս ակումբի համար շատ բան եմ արել։Ես խաղացել եմ այս ակումբում, Պրեմիեր լիգա գալուց ի վեր ես այս սերնդի խաղացողների շրջանում ամենաշատ գոլերն եմ խփել։ Չեմ կարծում, որ որևէ մեկը ինձանից ավելի շատ գոլեր է խփել կամ գոլային փոխանցումներ կատարել ամբողջ Պրեմիեր լիգայում։ Հիշում եմ՝ որոշ ժամանակ առաջ Հարի Քեյնը 10 խաղում գոլ չէր խփել, և լրատվամիջոցներում բոլորը ասում էին. «Օ՜, Հարին անպայման կխփի», բայց երբ խոսքը Մոյի մասին է, բոլորը ասում էին. «Նա պետք է պահեստայինների նստարանին լինի»։ Կներես, Հարի՛», - Սալահի խոսքերն է մեջբերում Daily Mail-ը։
Սալահը խոստովանեց, որ «Բրայթոնի» դեմ խաղը կարող է վերջինը լինել «Լիվերպուլի» կազմում։ Դրանից հետո հարձակվողը կմեկնի Եգիպտոսի հավաքական՝ մասնակցելու Աֆրիկայի ազգերի գավաթի խաղարկությանը և կարող է չվերադառնալ Անգլիա։
