Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները որևէ կերպ չեն արձագանքել Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի հերթական հայտարարությանը։ Հիշեցնենք, Ալիևը Բաքվում միջազգային համաժողով էր գումարել «Հայաստանից արտաքսված ադրբեջանցիների մշակութային ժառանգության վերականգնումը որպես արդարության հաշտեցման և խաղաղության ուղիղ ճանապարհ» խորագրի ներքո, և այդ համաժողովում հայտարարել էր, թե անհրաժեշտ է «ապահովել Հայաստանից բռնի տեղահանված ադրբեջանցիների վերադարձը, ձեռնարկել քայլեր հայերի կողմից կատարված մարդկության դեմ հանցագործությունները միջազգային իրավունքի շրջանակներում գնահատելու համար»։
Ալիևը պնդել է, թե ադրբեջանական ժողովուրդը իր պետականության և մշակույթի հին պատմությամբ» վերջին 2 դարերի ընթացքում տեղահանվել է հայրենի հողից, ցեղասպանության ենթարկվել ապաստան գտնելով Ադրբեջանում,ցհայ ժողովրդին մեղադրելով ադրբեջանցիների ունեցվածքի յուրացման մեջ։
Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունները, իհարկե, ահռելի պատմական փաստեր ունեն, որոնք կարող են ներկայացնել, ցույց տալով, որ Ադրբեջանի նախագահը պարզապես ստում է, ընդ որում, 1980-ականների վերջին, 90-ականների սկզբին բոլոր ադրբեջանցիները, որոնք հեռացել են Հայաստանից, համապատասխան փոխհատուցում են ստացել, մինչդեռ Սումգայիթից և Ադրբեջանի այլ վայրերից բռնի տեղահանված հայ փախստականներին պարզապես ունեզրկել են, սպանել, և որևէ մեկը նրանց իրավունքներով չի զբաղվում, և այս փաստերը միջազգային հանրության առջև դնելու փոխարեն Հայաստանի իշխանությունները գլխապատառ նետվել են դեպի իրենց խաղաղության արատավոր օրակարգը։
Չհասկանալով կամ էլ միտումնավոր գործողություններ ձեռնարկելով՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար ապագայում լրջագույն ռիսկեր ստեղծելու համար։ Թեպետ, Իլհամ Ալիևի այս հայտարարությունները լրջագույն հետևանքներ կարող են ունենալ, փաշինյանական իշխանությունը համառորեն հրաժարվում է արձագանքելուց՝ հերթական անգամ ապացուցելով, որ ընդամենը դավաճանների կույտ են։
