Ուկրաինան արդեն երրորդ տարին անընդմեջ ստացել է ականազերծման գործողությունների համար նախատեսված միջազգային ֆինանսավորման մեծ մասը, ըստ ՄԱԿ-ի Զինաթափման հետազոտությունների ինստիտուտի (UNIDIR) ականազերծման գործողությունների ֆինանսավորման հետազոտությունների ղեկավար Ռութ Բոթոմլիի։
Նրա խոսքով՝ հակամարտության գոտիներում ականազերծման, կասետային զինամթերքի վնասազերծման և պայթուցիկ վտանգի վերացման համար համաշխարհային ֆինանսավորումը 2024 թվականին գերազանցել է 1 միլիարդ դոլարը։ Այս գումարից միջազգային դոնորները ներդրել են ավելի քան 760 միլիոն դոլար։
«Երրորդ տարին անընդմեջ Ուկրաինան մնում է միջազգային ֆինանսավորման առաջատար ստացողը։ Այն ստացել է բոլոր միջազգային միջոցների մոտավորապես 33%-ը: Միևնույն ժամանակ, ինչպես նշել ենք մեր նախորդ զեկույցներում, որոշ երկրներ, մասնավորապես՝ Սահարայի ենթասահարյան Աֆրիկայում, չեն ստանում միջազգային ֆինանսավորում, ինչը խաթարում է նրանց կարողությունը պահպանելու Կոնվենցիայի 5-րդ հոդվածով սահմանված ականազերծման ժամկետները», - ասել է նա Ժնևում «Landmine Monitor 2025» զեկույցի ներկայացման ժամանակ։
